Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Eastleigh

Recently was provided with a curtesy car from here. Nesh and Leah were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. They kept me informed about when I had to return it and made sure I was happy with the vehicle. Therefore I recommend.

I booked a car to hire for 4 days rang up the customer services to book they told me £202 so thought that was great so went ahead with booking it. when they picked me up and arrived at there site where I was picking the car up from went through the forms signed them and when it came to payment they said it was £402 which was including deposit which I was not told on the phone when I booked . As I did not have the money to pay the extra £200 they told me the only thing they can do is take me home and leave me with no vehicle. not very good at letting you know these things when you book and land you with unexpected costs when you pick the car up .

I have had a good experience before but today has been a very bad customer experience relating to this companyI booked a car online showing as available. I was sent a text to call the Eastleigh office rather the ring me direct so I then had to take time getting through to find out why I was being contactedI was then told the car I booked was not available, that this happens all the time and that they were sorry but I would not get my money back for 3-5 daysI think this is a very bad level of customer service and experienceThey then advised me to try Arnold Clark in Totton, Southampton who offered a really good service and a cheaper car !! £100 vs £134My advice is therefore to follow the advice of enterprise and use Arnold Clark

I booked a vehicle at 1-30pm the day before I wanted rental , I arranged to pick up car at 8am as I was picking someone else up at 08-45am for a time sensitive appointment. 19-30 that evening I got a phone call to say they didn’t have a car for me I said I’d booked and it was imperative that I had that vehicle, I was told after sometime that they would collect another car and upgrade me so I had a car at 08-20, I arrived at 08.00am and was told they were picking my vehicle up. Then I was told that the vehicle I was promised was being an extended hire and I didn’t have a car again. It’s now 08-45am and I really should be picking up my passenger. I was then told they would take me to another branch to pick up another car, but time was passing and I arranged for my passenger to ring a taxi which we were lucky to get and I would pay for it at a cost of£141-00 enterprise took me home and at 16-30pm I received a call apologising and offering me £40 off my next hire , absolutely discusting service , bad organising and people should know what a poor service they offer.

We hired a van at short notice from the Eastleigh branch of Enterprise. Very impressed with their ability to procure us a van at short notice, despite heavy demand that day. Rebecca and Sophie and Fynn were extremely courteous, approachable and professional. Excellent service with professional, friendly staff.We needed a courtesy car after our own car had been damaged when someone reversed into it and your team made such an effort to do everything they could to make it smooth for us.Simple and easy process, thank you very much.

We were renting a car for 24 hours as our car was in repair, one of their salesmen accused us to damaged the car while it wasn’t our fault and he was so consistent to the point he brought in another colleague of him to tell us if the car was damaged before they hand it to us it was so obvious to pick it up, after arguing for 10 minutes the branch manager came out and said it was damaged previous to our collection. So make sure you’re dealing with the branch manager if you need to hire a car from them and take a video from all around the car before collecting to have evidence of any damages.

Awful! gave my daughter a hire vehicle with a chipped windscreen when we had weather warnings and the chip turned into a massive crack, they had no replacement vehicle, she lost a days pay as she couldn’t get to work. We weren’t comfortable with her driving the car to put petrol in and now they want £70 for petrol when it would only cost £44 at a local garage, we have queried this with them and they have not agreed for us to pay the current local fuel cost nor are to they taking responsibility for not having a replacement vehicle, extremely disappointed under the circumstances!

They supplied a replacement car through insurance when mine was damaged. Car itself was immaculate. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely use them should I need to hire a car.
