The X-Ray department is fantastic. I had to attend for a CT scan and having had a truly frightening experience many, many years ago of having had a scan with dye that I was allergic to I was very scared to hear that I needed a dye injection to get a meaningful scan. The staff, nurse, radiographer and doctor were so kind and patient with me when they were obviously so busy. Having been assured that things had moved on a huge amount in the past 35 years and they were there for me, I agreed to have the injection and all was well. If they thought I was a silly, scared old lady - they were right - but they showed nothing but care, concern and support. Thank you so much - all of you.

Never any parking spaces, you need to arrive at least half an hour early for your appointment so you have time to hunt for a space.Been a few times in the past year and found it to be unclean looking for hospital standards.Staff are lovely and helpful though.

Zero stars would of been better but i can't my mum was in cross house multiple times and the waiting in the ambulance out side made her panic they kept her waiting one time for hours they put her in a normal ward even thow it should of been the respiratory ward the nurses and the docar there where pathetic the didn't check her blood oxygen levels as she had COPD and enfasimia I went up to visit her and she didn't know what land she was on couldn't speak or know where she was very delerias the nurse said your mum was just up eating her food I told the nurse she can't hold her head up never mind eat when I spoke to the doctor his words where we are just going to make your mum as comfy as possible and give her morphine I asked did they take her bloods he said yes turns out they didn't take her bloods for 3 weeks the head nurse who I can't rember her name apogised once it came bk I was right they put her straight on a nebuliser with in 1 day she was bk to her self up speaking eating less than a week later she got home moral of the story is if I would of listens to that doctar he would of let my mother die the hospital is a joke they put the blame on a traveling nurse or a nurse who only there when they are under staffed I will never for how the staff on the ward was walking on egg shells round my mum when she started speaking and using the toilet her self how many times have they made that mistake or where not checking properly my mum past away last year after nearly 10 month of trying to get oxygen bk home and the nurse the blamed got let go I think personally a.e was empty during COVID and now the hospital is bk to normal they can't handle it sorry for the spelling mistakes

Although the nhs are back logged with wait times. They still manage to provide impeccable service and do keep the facilities clean. That's a bonus

I attended the Minor Injuries Unit at Crosshouse hospital with an injury so minor I expected a wait of several hours. In spite of having about 30 people ahead of me at reception,I was seen by triage within 10 minutes. Then assessed by the nurse practitioner, xrayed, treated and out the door all in about two hours.Every member of staff I encountered was cheerful and good humoured and treated me as if I was the first patient of the day…I cannot speak highly enough of them.My sincere thanks to all.

I had the misfortune to be ill last month and was taken into the ENT dept - mainly for a good slap due to the nonsense in my head (joke). The staff were ultra friendly and kind. The food was fab and the constant attention was terrific - cannot complain at all. Facilities were spotless and the doctors were kind and compassionate. I do not envy their job, but well done staff of Crosshouse Hospital - you made my stay a great comfort in a difficult time. Cannot praise them enough.

What a joke of a hospital pouring shame on all the NHS. Sat in A and E for six hours with my wife who has had a stroke a few years ago .but just had hip replacement a week before .watched while people with sprained hands n feet and all manner of the smallest efflictions thay were through before the ones you could see were seriously hurt the doctors and nurses know what thay r doing putting all the easy fast ones through so thay don't have to work hard one nurse employed to take name and verify you are who you are .I could go on and on but I think I'll take the easy way out as this seams to be the order .bottom line I have lost all sympathy with doctors and nurses shower of lazy..................... over paid slakers bring back matron. Think we should get rid of NHS all together and start putting our tax money to better system some kind of private system
