Ran down old place with pathways that break the ankles, would not recommend going here for views of the cathedral, other areas have better views and more accessible without the risk of uneven surfaces.Just avoid this area unless skilled at navigating Durham pathways.2 stars - broken parts of the path needing a well deserved leveling and repair, bench there is starting to break due to vandalism, sad that Durham does not get the beauty it once had.As for the word Student" it needs to be dropped

I lived here as a postgraduate (2022-2023). I would highly recommend the accommodation, very convenient location and parking. Each room is very different in terms of size and layout, but all are ensuite and most with double beds.
