Fantastic place for a day out either at one of the airshows or just as a day out. There is plenty for kids to do from the Land Warfare Hall to the Airspace hangar and the American Air Hangar in between.

Loads of brilliant historical aircraft and other militaria on display, we also had the pleasure of going around the Aston Martin Owners Club event on the day, many beautiful and immaculate cars of all eras. A brilliant day, topped off with an impromptu flying display by a Spitfire and a Hurricane.Perfect for kids, young and old !!

IWM Duxford Staff Entrance
Amazing place, covid restrictions in place were superb and staff were all pleasant and well informed. Gift shop is well stocked and full of variety. Book a local talk session, either the lancaster talk or battle of Britain as you get a 10% off gift shop voucher! Be warned tho the site is huge the exhibits so packed of information you will not be able to do it in one day. We are already looking at becoming a member so we can repeat visit again and again.

Lots to see over a large area as bases on a airfield. Lots if planes and military vehicles and great to see vintage aircraft flying. We took 5yr old grandson and it was a shame there wasn't more interactive opportunities for children to take part in as this would have really made a difference to retaining his interest. He so wanted to sit in a cockpit and we only found a wooden thing with no steering wheel and printed controls. Was a small badge making activity, which took 5mins to do

D-Day commemorative air display at IWM Duxford, horrible wet day with low cloud that disrupted the flying schedule. However great museums to view in the dry.
