I did a 200 mile round trip because Clelands was the only Volvo dealer that could help with my car. I’d do it again - outstanding service.

I have had my car serviced again today by Clelands.Whenever I deal with this garage either for servicing purchasing of a new car or just general advice they are always extremely courteous and helpful.I would highly recommend them to anyone considering using them.

We went to Clelands Volvo to buy a new car. Our salesman, Andrew Miller, was excellent and took us through all our options and model choices. Andy is very knowledgeable and well versed on Volvo cars. We ended up with an all electric XC40 and couldn’t be happier. Super guy and I would recommend Clelands and Andy to anybody looking for a new automobile. I would also like to acknowledge Steve, from Technical Services. I do not think there is anyone who knows more about the electronic features/workings of the car then him. On sale day, he walked me through the features, most of which I have forgotten. However Steve is forever there to answer any and all of my inane, dumb questions with a smile and more importantly an answer.

Bought a trade 2009 Rav 4, We had a little discussion about the tyres and some rust and got £300 off, I was told the car had a 1 month warranty. I noticed the brakes weren't as sharp as they should be but it could have been stood for a while. I refueled the car for the journey home. the brakes did not improve and noticed when I got home the fuel filler pipe had leak (corroded) anything above quarter of a tank leaks. Next morning battery totally flat, bought new battery, took the car to MOT station, car would have failed MOT poor brakes, caliper sliders seized, and would fail MOT due to fuel leaking from fuel filler pipe, So ordered all new brakes for the front + sliders, new filler pipe.So the car now was unsafe for use on the road, I contacted Clelands and was 100% fobbed off, They did offer me my money back but I was 140 miles away with a car not fit for the road. I was told the warranty was for Major" parts only

Whilst travelling north on a holiday to Northumberland, we stopped to recharge our car on a motorway fast charging station, unfortunately the charge did not go above 30kwh, we called Volvo assist who suggested we call the nearest Volvo dealership, as it was that we were travelling through the borders Clelands was the closest to where we were heading, we gave them a call and they were more than happy for us to call in so they could check the car over, once there we were greeted by a fantastic team who immediately put the car on charge to check it, once it was established that it was charging ok they informed us that our particular model was being recalled for a fault on the charging pins and that it would be extremely remiss of them not to do the recall before we left them. We were treated to refreshments whilst we waited, even the dog was given biscuits and a bowl of water. The check was done immediately, even though we hadn’t made an appointment and it was sorted in less than 20mins. Everyone of the lads we dealt with whilst there were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, it was a really good experience and if we every are in need of help whilst visiting again they are the first dealership we will call.

Whilst on holiday we had an incident that resulted in damage to a front wheel arch of our V90. Gary and Nicky at Clelands made sure that we were roadworthy and not only able to continue with our holiday but also get home safely. They were extremely kind and made what had been a stressful incident much easier to handle. We are really grateful for their expertise and kindness. Thank you!

Booked my car in for its first service under the Volvo Service Plan. The receptionist and technical staff were extremely helpful, the car was serviced and washed and I was on my way in just over two hours. Recently visited to view a used car having not previously owned a Volvo. Following a chat I was encouraged to take it out to drive. Although I didn’t purchase at that time David the salesman was very helpful.A few weeks later I spoke to David & returned to view, drive and purchase a vehicle.The process to change was friendly, but conducted efficiently and subsequent follow up communication was sent as promised.A modern, showroom, lovely coffee, overall a very positive experience.
