Belvoir Carlisle

Myself and my family have had our lettings with Adele and her team for over 30 years , long before they joined with Belvoir, to way back in the beginning when Judith Bulman ran the company. We’ve been happy with the service and professionalism shown to us throughout this time. Adele has always gone the extra mile to help us.Reading through some of these reviews is quite shocking as it certainly isn’t a true representation of how Adele and all the staff work. The fact that we’ve kept our businesses with them, through all the changes the company has gone through, for the last 30 odd years, speaks for itself . And I certainly wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Adele and her team to anyone.

Awful company with a very poor reputation. They treat many renters like dirt (and then wonder where all the one star reviews come from!!!!), they don't help when something goes wrong and their only response is to say they have never heard of you! Why would anyone invent issues such as mould, faulty heating and rudeness? They all occurred and the owner knows it. Pathetic and tone deaf!

As a landlord, with several properties across numerus letting companies, Belvoir Carlisle are one of the best. I regularly receive updates on my propriety. The letting agents carry out very fair and justified background checks and also provide very detailed home visits to make sure the property is well kept and to a high standard. Furthermore, they provide a very competitive management price of the property. Finally, I am only contacted by the letting agent regarding maintenance required to the property and receive regular emails regarding up dates to the company and how they can improve their service.Compared to most letting agents Belvoir are very professional and I would continue working with them in the future.

I can't recommend Belvoir enough. This is my second property I have rented with them and both times the process has been professional, quick and friendly. They are always very quick to respond if I have an issue which is not very often.

I rented a property from Belvour Bullmans in 2017, we seemed to have multiple admin issues with them and on trying to exit the property we found a struggle back and fourth with issues.I have seen the response from Belvour, this is completely untrue, this makes me question the legitimacy of the other same replies.

I highly recommend Belvoir in Carlisle (previously Bulmans) which has managed properties I let for the past 17 years. Probably enough time to work out Adele and her staff know their stuff!!They’ve always been a pleasure to deal with, all with a great sense of humour, tolerating my demands, bad jokes and sorting in a timely way the inevitable problems with property letting.Some agencies I’ve experienced (none at present, thankfully!!) have failed to communicate, which is miserable and costly. This isn’t the case here, as it’s understood how vital communication is. Nothing worse than hearing too late or not being pre-warned of issues. That’s what management is about – dealing with issues & not just taking the fees & neglecting the management.

I wouldn't recommend it for several reasons:Added fees to the rent for their services" while all the letting agencies that I have use just take certain percentage of the rent but with Belvoir you have to take into account that would cost you a few hundred pounds extra per month.I was living in Scotland before where the water services were included into the council tax so I thought that was the same in England

I have 2 properties in Carlisle which I let through Belvoir. As I don't live locally, Belvoir provide a full management service and have no complaints with the tenants or service they provide. The team have always made themselves available to fit in with my visits to Carlisle and keep me updated regularly. Would highly recommend them.
