A Garden to RelishWe moved to a new house with a blank canvas for a garden. We knew what we wanted in our garden, but needed help and inspiration in creating our vision. Our research for a landscaper through Google led to J. A. Dodds Landscapes. After meeting James, with our specific requirements of a Japanese/Zen space, an undercover social/barbeque area, raised planters and utility space. James gave us different suggestions and after various design ideas, James and his teams (we named the J Team) set to work removing 160 tons of soil from our garden. From start to finish, James was constantly checking in with us, giving us suggestions to think about, so the garden became an evolving project as it went along. The result is an outstanding garden worthy of a magazine, which we love. James and his team are creative, skilled, hardworking, conscientious and the best Landscapers in Northumberland. We cannot thank them enough for our brilliant garden and highly recommend them for your project.

From the initial consultation and my vague description of what I wanted to the final product we have is amazing.James tries to give everyone something unique and different and his attention to detail is outstanding,The guys worked tirelessly in some awful January weather but were always polite and cheerful.Somehow they managed to turn a small boring space into something to be proud of. James and the team have just completed our garden makeover and we are delighted with the result. James kept us updated and offered advice and suggestions throughout. Totally professional project carried out with no hassle, everything project-managed well - in time and on time. James and his crew completely transformed both our front drive and back garden patio (which we are appreciating now). Very friendly bunch of lads. What a superb team. From our very first meeting with James his passion and enthusiasm for design and quality were obvious. He produced several designs from which we could choose then modify. His knowledge of products and how they could be used is excellent. At all times his team were considerate and professional - arriving on time and working hard. We have had numerous positive comments about our wonderful drive -one visitor didn't want to park on it because it looks so good. We would have no hesitation in recommending James and his team.
