Charles is a great piano teacher. My son started as a complete beginner and is quickly picking up new piano skills. Charles has a way of explaining things so that it clicks with my son, and he knows how to keep it fun as well. Would 100% recommend him for lessons!

Charles is very knowledgeable and personable in equal measure, and I leave every lesson knowing I have taken a step forward. I especially enjoy how Charles perfectly pitches every lesson to my ability and interest - none of it feels generic or phoned in, and as a result I feel very engaged in sessions. I'm genuinely surprised at how much progress I've made in such a short time with Charles. 100% recommend to anybody who wants to improve their skills with the piano and knowledge of music theory. Astoundingly good value for money.

Charles has opened my mind to relearn piano theory and to enjoy myself, to have confidence and to feel each note. Get it perfectly played then move on to the next. I enjoy his creative approach based on strong musical knowledge and he treats me like an equal which I like. I am a granny having fun while learning to play. Well done Charles. Simply the best!

Coming back to the tenor horn (euphonium) after a few years out, Charles has been a massive help! Knowledgeable, friendly and always enthusiastic - I look forward to my lessons, and can't believe the progress I've made! Would give six stars if I could.

Charles has been teaching my 11 year old son piano. Charles has a lovely manner when teaching and makes the lesson fun. My son thoroughly enjoys his piano lessons with Charles.
