Called this company out of hours after being let down by another company. Elderly parents at home with blockage. This company were most helpful. Attended the same evening and stayed until the blockage had cleared. Having flooded the yard and house entrance were a mess. The engineers helped my parents clear up. Absolutely professional company to deal with

Turned up on time on a week day. Got the job done. The problem is they charged my £330 for 45 minutes to unblock a drain. Shocking.

Called Fastclear and asked them to CCTV my drains as they kept backing up. Two engineers arrived in the afternoon, they spoke to me about what they were going to do before they started and were very efficient. The whole survey was done in about an hour and they confirmed what the problem was and cleared it straight away. They did exactly what I expected of them and I wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

DO NOT USE.Called these guys out to sort out a sewer drainage problem. They informed me of the prices beforehand and seemed fairly professional whilst they were here. On their initial checks, they discovered that my neighbour's drains were also backed up.So they told me that it was a shared drainage problem, probably at the manhole on the street and that I should call the council. I checked and the council's advise was to speak to the water supplier. I arranged an appointment with them and they informed me that a blockage on my property would incur a flat fee of £114 to fix.Fast Clear Drainage charged me £168 (£55 for the callout, £85 for the pressure jet if necessary + VAT) for not solving the problem. This is the per half hour charge, and they were here for half an hour.I spoke to a neighbour about the issues and it turned out that he had a set of drain rods I could use. I figured I had nothing to lose. So this morning I tackled the problem myself. The blockage was maybe a foot beyog the manhole and definitely still on my property, so my responsibility.I called fast clear to inform them that they got the direction of flow wrong and that was the problem. I know services like this rarely do refunds, but I was hoping for some sort of contrition at the very least. I didn't get anything of the sort. Just attitude on the phone.So, paid for expertise. They made assumptions. Paid for a pressure jet that it turns out was unnecessary. Paid for service and got attitude.If you've got a drainage problem, call someone else.
