Our experience of dealing with Richard Mant has been very unpleasant. We found him to be very disingenuous and unprofessional with a lack of any customer service acumen.

I would like to say how professional R.M.S. Was always professional the way he carried out the project, I would highly recommend he may not be the cheapest. but you get what you pay for.

After a really bad experience with this company, we were left with an incomplete staircase and they completely destroyed the very expensive oak wood we paid for.All the spindles cut to wrong length and nailing in misaligned angles. And were loose in places, making it unsafe to use.We were met with unprofessional behaviour, threatened with lawsuits if we kept hassling them.Many of the other reviews appear to be fake, I suspect in an attempt to raise their own ranking. If you look at the 8 existing Google reviews, they were all done within the same month. Very short and not a lot of detail in the reviews.We payed 15k up front, and beyond the financial loss we were left emotionally exhausting.We finally found an independent carpenter who was kind enough to take on someone else's bad workmanship and paid another 8k to redo all the shoddy work.**** I would strongly advise anyone thinking about working with RSM Joinery to take your time and do your research! ****Don't read the good reviews on other sites. Read the bad ones.They are the most honest and proves how others have had similarly bad experience.There are more qualified joiners out who will respect your home. Look for City and Guild qualifications to ensure you are working with a proper craftsman. Or Institute of Carpenters qualifications
