Superb, much better than I could have expected!The flavours were beautifully balanced, fresh and exciting. Interesting uses of unusual ingredients for vegetarians and gluten free meals.Polenta cake main was incredible! Thank you so much!

Starter arrived with burnt toast.Main course came with triple cooked chips, these also tasted burnt.My wife ordered fry’s and got triple cooked chips.Explained to waitress and she said “yes sorry “The wine was excellent and the beer was good.Will not be going back.

Very much enjoyed our trip to The Stables. Stopped in for a light bite and a drink over lunch. Outdoor area with music was perfect for a Saturday in the sun. Staff very friendly. Shame it wasn't a little busier to help with the atmosphere but would recommend!

It was absolutely dead quiet last night which is a shame because the place is lovely and the location is quite unique.We just stopped for a drink, which was tasty but extremely expensive. I'm sure it would be more of a fun experience if there were more people around to improve the ambiance.EDIT: This has not put me off returning for a meal, we were out walking and just popped in for a quick drink en route. The food that we saw come out looked and smelled great

Solid Sunday lunch. Well presented and good food however I think it's quite a long way from the kitchen to parts of the restaurant so the food could have been hotter. Atmosphere OK however somewhat barn like

The menu is limited, we were expecting more than burgers and steaks . On the night we were in there was a local band playing live at the place.

This place has really turned around since their new chef has come in. The service is wonderful and matched with amazing food it makes for a lovely evening, well worth a visit. The new pizza oven outside in the garden with authentic Italian style pizzas is to die for. Highly recommend trying this place if you get the opportunity!

We enjoyed a lovely atmosphere in the garden at Stables Restaurant.The pictures of the menu on Instagram page, especially for the pizzas, are certainly not representative. The size of the pizza is far too small comparing the pictures for the menu and overpriced for the quality itself. However, the atmosphere in the garden is great for a drink with your friends, especially when there is live music.
