Visited this place in Nov,2023 with my colleague. The food was good as compared to other Indian restaurants but the prices are an absolutely shambles . I was flabbergasted by the bill I saw for two people having a starter and main course. It was bloody £ 106 ..!! . I wanted to inquire further about the itemized prices but refrain to do it.The waitress with the American accent seems clueless and she was confused all this time when we asked her anything. I have to say the food was good but the price is an absolute Rip off .! Won’t visit it again until they review their prices ..!

First lunch out in over 27 weeks and boy did Ayr India come up with the goods.Food was sublime!Popadoms, spiced onions, mango chutney and tandoori dip...Haggis pakora and chicken tikka flatbread...Followed by chicken tikka chasni and lamb Karahi with rice and the best naan I've tasted!Good social distancing and hygiene.Very friendly and attentive service...and as it was our first visit... Complimentary liqueurs of our choice... Bailey's and a Glayva.First time in Ayr India but most certainly not our last. Highly recommended.

Very nice restaurant, very clean and like the decor. Friendly waitress and excellent food. Had a slight issue with the chicken tikka which was resolved nicely by the owner who explained it clearly. Nice atmosphere and even had chats with other tables which was nice. I tried something new and loved it and my colleague really enjoyed it too. They even gave me a shot of whisky at the end which was nice. Definitely recommend and will be back next time I'm in the area.

First and foremost the food was sub- par, service and staff were great. Unfortunately the food was very expensive. Extremely expensive even. 2 people it cost £90 and thats without a starter! An ok Indian but wouldn’t recommend due to the price.

Had a meal with my wife & chose the lunchtime menu - delicious food, wide choice & for only £12.50 per head!Best of all was the service provided by our hostess/waitress Taylor - she was exemplary! Will certainly visit again when I'm in this part of Scotland again

Sharp practice in my opinion!! My family & l visited this restaurant on the 28th July, we noticed everything on the menu was set menu, price included starter & mains. We asked the young woman with American accent would it be okay to just have the main course without starter. She said “oh yes thats fine, have as little as you want” but she failed to mention we would be charged for the full set menu price regardless of “how little” we ordered. Absolutely Shocking that she charged us the full price. We won’t be back!

Overcharged the last 2 times we visited for lunch. Not acceptable. First time charged £3.50 per (small) glass of coke for kids and £5.50 for chips. 2nd time visit tried to charge us again £5.50 for small bowl of chips. Arrived at 1.30pm waitress seemed in a rush took husband's starter plate away when still eating. Also removed pakora sauces had to ask for them back. Music turned off while we were still eating. Sitting in silence. Finished by 2.30pm closed sign on door. Waitress brushing floor around us while we eat which is a no-no and plain rude. Disappointing to say the least.

Just had a great meal. Food was fantastic as always at any of their places. Staff very attentive and always look after you. Willing to alter dishes to suit your palate. Wouldn't go anywhere else . Special touches are family who own premises remember the regulars by name even if you haven't been for a while. Excellent value for Excellent food.
