Uttoxeter Racecourse

Lovely country racecourse. We come regularly. Every one is friendly. The facilities are good. The drinks may seem a bit pricey but seem usual for this type of event. It is card only at the bars etc.

Not a gambling man. This was a company day. I'm glad I went for the experience but if you know racecourses there is nothing I can tell you. Not intending to go back there, not my thing but I really am glad for the experience.

Poor food for daughters prom. Seemed expensive for what was on offer - not what was promised - but we didn’t pick venue. If you are choosing fit an event I would avoid so you don’t disappoint your attendees

What a great day and evening this was. It was a family day for the kings coronation so after the races had a queen tribute band on and Elvis. The train journey from stoke station was not the best. They put on 2 carriages which was deffo not enough for the amount of people boarding. The racing was awesome and my 6 year old had the best day. We paid for the premium stand which was worth it when the heavens opened. Queen was awesome and rocked the place afterwards.

We had a fantastic day, friendly atmosphere being a family fun day. Great for kids. Well set out. Little rain did not deter our spirits.

Uttoxeter Racecourse Christmas PartyCame to the Racecourse for a work Xmas do, the venue itself was good, the staff were very nice, lots of confusion regarding the meal and who had what, a lot of the younger staff were quite confused it seems thankfully the more senior members of the team knew what was going on, it did seemed stressed at times but drinks were plentiful and kept coming. Concerning the meal, a lot of our party of 42 weren't too thrilled about the menu to be honest, it seemed to be very fancy, unnecessarily, which led to the starters of baba ganoush and terrine being very underwhelming and main course of Christmas dinner was yum! The other options such as carrot Wellington and nut roast were not too good. Dessert was okay, although it would have been nice for a festive option. The highlight was the entertainment with a great DJ and the dancefloor was never empty, security were impeccable too, quick to do use any situations and help those who had a bit too much to drink.

A very personal and friendly course, excellent staff, well run. We all had a great day.

Reason for my visit to attend a small Antiques fair held over 2 days on a weekend only, but always check on the Website in dates change. You may find what you're looking for or come away empty handed, there's stalls outside and indoors to view & on the gate entry £2.50 so can't grumble thumb's up
