Loved the boat trip across the Bay in glorious sunshine on a bank holiday weekend. Direct to the city centre up the River Taff. Good value for the experience and journey.

The Aquabus is a handy tour/water bus service across the Cardiff barrage. The Aquabus goes at selected times across to Penarth Marina. It's fairly reasonable priced. You can buy tickets at booth in Cardiff Bay or in the boat from Penarth.

The partner and I boards the Aqua Bus on Thursday, 29/6/2023.The price is £7 per adult which in my honest opinion is slightly expensive.The boat tour guide does not talk throughout the guide. Very disappointed. We were expecting much better.The only positives are the swans and the wetherspoons on the pier.There is not much to see apart from trees and apartment blocks.

Cardiff Bay Aquabus Pier
Fun way to get between Cardiff Bay and Cardiff Castle. Boat is a bit old and loud. But safe, some interesting views and fairly comfortable.
