A good range of secondhand electrical items, cameras, phones as well as games and DVD's. Personally I feel some prices are on the expensive side especially when you consider how little they offer when purchase from you.

Astounding mix of mostly new but used games, discs, photography paraphernalia plus other things. All in good condition and at reasonable prices

I went to store on Monday 7th August 2023 and sold them a laptop and was told it would be tested and then the money will be paid by Wednesday 9th August 2023 and if there were any issues someone will be in touch, nobody was in touch.I then spoke with their customer care team on Wednesday 9th August 2023 and was promised a response between 24/48 hours.It’s now passed that dead line and I haven’t heard from the store, the customer care team or received the money.Edit-I picked up the laptop on 13th August 2023 when the customer care team got back to me and noticed it was damaged. I have been in touch with the customer care team again as the store requested and 11 days later they are still reviewing the matter, I'm getting regular updates but nothing more then its still in review.Edit again-After 2 weeks waiting for a response from the store it was pretty embarrassing that they didn't respond about the scratches and dents on the laptop but about something else and to go back to the store to get it checked.I feel as if I will be going round in circles so I've dropped the case.If you'll be selling anything to CEX I highly recommend taking pictures before giving them the product to cover yourself or they will having you going around in circles and won't take responsibility.

Actually incapable of properly testing PC hardware by the looks of it. Thankfully they didn't damage anything.Told me my GPU didn't work and yet when I got it back, lo and behold it runs fine in both my PC's and now the new owners. Thought I'd save myself the agg of Gumtree, but was actually less hassle and I got more money. If your selling PC parts, do yourself a favour and use Gumtree/eBay.

A great store, reasonably priced items, lovely helpful, friendly staff.

Very nice shop. Unfortunately it did not have the game I had gone there to purchase. The shop is located at the far end of Lakeside near the exit that takes one to Hollywood Bowl.

Absolute rubbish service I received from the lady behind the counter today (23/10/23). Spoke to me very rudely, not polite at all and really disrespectful. Get your attitude checked and leave your problems at home. The manager is welcome to contact me if you’d like to know more, won’t shop here again.

Absolutely Disgusting Customer Service:Came into the store at around 4pm on Sunday 4/6. And wanted to purchase a PS4 game.There was a queue no problem with that but. Queue jumping by other customers which was welcomed by a member of staff isn’t good customer service. This customer was buying a phone from the locked cabinet, in which case as working in retail myself the process should have been to keep the item behind until the customer came to the front of the queue.Obviously the quality of customer service you get depends on how much a customer buys from the store.Well next time I will be buying and selling product from/to GAME.

Went in yesterday. All I wanted to do was buy 2 games. There were 2 members dealing with customers who had brought items in to sell. Waited 15 minutes in the queue which did not move, but grew. There were 2 other members of staff, neither of which got on the till to help. One red haired girl was doing what I assume was a stock take painfully slowly. Could have jumped on the till and been done in 2 minutes. Won't waste my time there again.
