TSB Bank

Don't bank with them anymore but they sent me letter claiming I had refund they wanted send me Claimed I'd be compensated 8 weeks later still waiting even tho was told be done asap 8 weeks still not a thing

My mother went here as her online banking hadn't been working. A staff member who was meant to assist her told her that her phone was 'rubbish' because the keyboard was malfunctioning on the app. When using the keyboard on Chrome or any other application it works fine, the issue was the TSB app. They then shoo'd her out of the branch as it was closing time. Scumbags, I know why they treated her that way and if I say it I'll be called 'woke'.

I opened a Current Account about 2 weeks ago and visited this branch with a query. Was seen by a lovely blonde lady who dealt with my query very well. She even remembered my name when I went back later to deposit some cash. Very nice branch so far.

I went there yesterday, after checking that there was counter service, to pay n a couple of business cheques. The reception girl asked if I had my card, which I didn't, but there was no counter service. The one TSB branch in a major UK city centre and it doesn't have proper facilities. How completely ridiculous.

Shocking customer service. I have recently relocated from London and I am unfamiliar with the type of approach this branch has - you cannot withdraw your own money (the only way to withdraw money is through an ATM which has a limit), you cannot speak to a member of staff because they direct you to an ATM, you cannot query anything because they direct you to a telephone number... The staff are not banking professionals, they are junior with little to no experience of working in a banking environment. I will be switching to a reputable bank as soon as possible.

Might as well close the branch. There’s more you can do online than in the branch.Not wiling to speak to you even after you show them ID.The “welcome” person is not welcoming at all and is there to fob you off.

Hi Sarah Sudgeon, manager of TSB Market Street. Please can you explain why there is no counter service in the branch that you manage? I thought TSB was a bank, but I’m unable to speak to a human at the counter to do a cash transaction at the counter. I’ve been waiting 20minutes, there is no queue at the counter, and there’s nobody behind it either. Is TSB actually a bank?

Lack of counter service has made my banking experience far more difficult than it needs to be. I am disabled so being forced to use the ATM's is unacceptable. TSB recently closed my local branch and as there is no post office near me I'm stuck having to travel into the city centre just to withdraw cash. I like many others rely on counter services and the withdrawal of them for the sake of being modern" is a huge downside."

I have been a loyal customer of this bank for over 2 years. I had a complete business account and I regret this bank. The entire 2 years they have held my money, broken down their system, had faults in their online banking, they have locked my account and finally they have decided to close my account because a business account is putting money into their account. This is absolutely ridiculous. I had called them to sort this out and all you hear is “I understand but there’s nothing we can do”. Iv heard that line in every cliche Customer service duty. It’s extremely unprofessional. The staff advisers have ended the phone on me mid conversation. I called in today about all this and guess what I was told “I understand where you’re coming from but there’s nothing we can do”. Iv asked them to transfer my direct debits to a new account Iv opened and they told me “you have to manually call the places and change it yourself”. They are completely useless. I do NOT recommend any business owners to bank with TSB. I heavily advise anyone to stay away from this cheap, cliche and unprofessional bank. Iv been with many banks and I can say this hands down this is the WORST bank Iv dealt with. They have made so many mistakes but id be here all day disclosing this. Stay away from this bank.

New location is stunning and opening hours are super convenient. I can do my banking late evening. Amazing. Colleagues are professional and helpful. More space, and ATM machines!!! Old branch is history now :) Keep up great job!
