This is a True little gem of a shop in Black Heath .. Linda is so good and knowledgeable about all aspects of bridal , prom and holy communion dresses. We had our little girls holy communion dress ,shoes and tiara all from here they were absolutely stunning . So many comments how beautiful she looked on the day.Linda’s brilliant at alterations and anything that needs taking up ,in or repaired this is the place to go .Love supporting independent businesses and so looking forward to prom shopping now our eldest daughters dress , I know Linda will have everything we need .All in all this is A one stop shop with everything you need for a girls special day whether it’s wedding ,prom or communion. Special touch of 1-1 appointments with Linda and Becky never rushed just there to advise and help. You won’t be disappointed in the quality and service this family provide.

Linda is so helpful and nothing is to much trouble. I have been going to her for over 15 years. This time 2 x holy communion dresses sorted and personalised to how my girls wanted them. Can't wait to see the final master piece

I went yesterday for wedding dress alterations, after going to Linda last year to have my bridesmaids dress altered I new she was the lady to do my wedding dress! She’s amazing at what she does she also made my sisters prom dress years ago, the shop is full of beautiful dresses from proms to wedding and also accessories! I brought my veil from here and honestly it’s so beautiful!

So where do I start with this 'shop'....This review is a long time coming - unfortunately, I was asked to wait to leave a review. Otherwise, this would have been posted in July 2022.So I had the 'pleasure' of using this shop and meeting the main woman who runs it and believe me I use the word pleasure lightly.....I genuinely don't know where to start. Not only does she seriously lack ANY customer service skills, but she is rude, unprofessional, and downright horrid. She clearly has an issue with women who aren't thin/average size - if you go in and have a little cuddle or are bigger than the average size woe betide you! You hear snidey comments - which is a bit of a cheek.She also seems to have an issue if you wear anything like a red bra to a fitting! In which she commented about - does it really matter what colour my underwear is when I'm trying a dress on - no.She made quite a few of us feel very uncomfortable in one way or another. There were even times when we had to decide what our measurements were- last time I checked this was part of her role?If I had been able to I wouldn't have even used this shop or given this woman any custom at all - but unfortunately that was not my decision.I would not recommend to anyone. If I could rate lower I would.

My daughter may have developed an eating disorder all over a comment this sour faced women made. My daughter was a bridesmaid for my sister's wedding. They chose this shop. Worst mistake. It was 3 years ago. The comment stuck with my daughter from day 1. I didn't want to make a scene in the shop. I thought about going in directly or sending a polite note. Something is wrong though. When you're in business you treat customers how you'd like to be treated well in general don't you? She said to my daughter, 'you're mother should be ashamed letting you get like this'. At the time my daughter was 11 years old. My daughter has never been what I would call overweight! You don't say remarks like that. 11 year old girls are impressionable! This comment is gonna stay with her probably forever. I noticed another lady had similar problem on here. It's appalling. I just hope this woman learns to think before she thinks about saying such remarks ever again. My family won't go in this shop ever again because they can see how it's affected my daughter. My daughter is in bits. I've got to seek treatment for her. It's appalling as I've said. I'm not trying to put people off but just be wary of snide comments.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! THEY DO NOTHING BUT BODY SHAME YOUNG GIRLS!I took my daughter to buy the prom dress of her dreams to be instantly told that we don't stock many dresses for bigger girls! She then continued to fat shame my child while she tried on all the dresses! Does this woman not want custom? I was willing to pay the hundreds of pounds for my daughters dress but no way will I give my hard earned money to this person!At one point she even got her daughter down to tell her how eating vegetables instead of crisps and bread made her lose weight!!It's women like this that give children a body complex! My daughter has anxiety and depression and already hates herself without this woman's comments!I am fuming and had to stop my husband from making a scene in the shop
