Colquhoun's Restaurant
Nice restaurant with a wonderful view of the lake. Food was made with fresh ingredients and the menu offered many options. We had a mixed experience with the food. Wonderful Scottish haggies, savory mushroom croquettes, nice sticky rice pudding and an uneatable eggplant filled in with halloumy cheese.

Staff were attentive and very pleasant and knew when to give you time to chat without interruptions. We had afternoon tea, which was lovely. Will definitely go back to sample the menu further! :)

Despite phoning ahead for our booking of 7 for afternoon tea with 1 gluten free guest I had to wait some time before this arrived at table. Such a pity as food was most enjoyable. Atmosphere at restaurant tables was cold though had a beautiful view.

The service was was very good, friendly and efficient. Food was absolutely amazing, great flavours and well presented. We were given this break with evening meal as a present but have both said that we will be dining here again soon as we both thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience as well as the whole stay.

Very good experience, fantastic table with perfect views, staff attentive as always, very good food , love the hot items, small draw back one of the sandwich range the bread was a bit dry - still consumed - everything else perfect.

Came for morning tea. The view from the restaurant was absolutely stunning- I loved it . The morning tea was a nice idea but spoilt for me because the sausage was cheap and nasty as was the muffin and everything else was as basic as possible (jam sachet, pretend clotted cream , bacon hard ) while it was edible- and there was plenty of hot tea -no one will hurry back for that food. Charge more and make it special??? If the food had been good I’d book a return in a heartbeat!

Colquhoun's Restaurant
This place is by the Loch Lomond and has a great view outside. I tried the seafood linguine here and loved it, simple yet good and clean flavors.The chicken curry with rice was also nice, a good option to choose if you like Indian food.Overall, quite an upscale place which might pull your pocket strings.
