Delightful location and high quality accommodation and facilities.

On tour with a Theatre company and this is the accommodation that has been booked for us. It's a lovely compact cottage. Out of the way of the usual hustle and bustle. Wi-fi is a bit of an issue as it can't deal with too much. Phone signal is also quite rare, but these things don't really bother me much. Owners are very welcoming, friendly and will respect your privacy. The place also heats up very quickly and remains warm for a long time. If you're looking for a quiet getaway and are not addicted to internet, I'd highly recommend the Appleshine Cottage!

Absolutely amazing getaway at Appleshine. Hosts were gracious and respected our privacy but were on hand to help if needed. This should be a rare need though as the cottage is extremely well stocked with household essentials, everything from towels, blankets, a BBQ and screwdrivers are tucked away somewhere. Guest book has absolutely anything worth doing or seeing in.Stunning views from basically every window in the cottage. Spacious yet very cosy, the whole conversion is a great use of a small space!Lovely patio area and so peaceful sitting outside in the evening which is where I sit now writing this review. The local pheasants keep you entertained also!If I had to state a downside it would be the access road a very minor issue but worth noting.Can't praise Appleshine enough regardless, we had a wonderful time and would come back again in a heartbeat!
