Gillanders Motors MG Aberdeen

Due to pick up my new car tomorrow but wanted to put on a review of my experience so far. What a joy of a garage to deal with. Been dealing with Darren, a total credit to the Gillanders Aberdeen branch, for a few weeks now. I had previously had a horrendous experience with the last garage I went to which resulted in a car I hated & paying far too much a month which was crippling me. I explained this to Darren & he put me at ease and not once did I feel pressured into buying a car. He arranged for me to come up and test the ZS and let me go out in it at my leisure and said take it for half an hour or so to get a real feel for it. The process was so easy after that. he remained patient with me when I was throwing question after question at him to make sure I wasn't getting done over again. he broke everything down superbly by explaining what everything meant and I am so chuffed I had the pleasure of dealing with him. I am beyond chuffed to pick up my new ZS tomorrow & I know I will enjoy it even more because of the experience at Gillanders Aberdeen. I will be highly recommending this garage to people & I look forward to many happy years with my new vehicle. Thanks so much Darren.

Recently bought a new electric car from Gillanders Motors MG Aberdeen. They came and picked us up from train station in Aberdeen and took us up to Altens to collect our car. Gave us information on how to operate the touchscreen display, and told us about useful apps. They also gave us complimentary mats and a charging cable. Thanks to Simon and Lewis. Excellent service.

Yesterday we picked up our brand new, 72-plate ZS EV Trophy from Gillanders in Aberdeen. I can’t speak highly enough of the service and attention we received. We’d reserved the car a while ago and Simon Gilchrist (Sales Executive) kept us fully updated on the planned delivery. The car was waiting for us when we arrived yesterday, fully ready to go, looking fantastic. When we were initially shopping for a new EV, we visited several different showrooms to weigh up the different manufacturers choices. We already liked the styling of the MG ZS EV, but the service and attention we got at Gillanders and the general welcoming feeling of the showroom played a big part in our choice (not to mention the 7 year warranty!). Not at all pushy like you get in many showrooms – very professional and good honest service. As EV newbies, we were asking plenty of questions and Simon was able to answer all of them for us clearly.Collecting the car yesterday was a breeze. We were in and out without any fuss, but still felt valued. Simon was also kind enough to help us out with some extras which we had requested for the car, which were all ready to go too.I would have no hesitation recommending Gillanders to anyone. Particularly Jamie m, who I worked with throughout my purchase.Great and valuable advice for applying for the EST 0% funding for my used MG5.Really appreciated that they could turn the car around quick as soon as the funding from the EST came in.Communication from start to finish was great. Will happily go back to this dealership!

We received our new car today. We love it and had the best experience with Jamie. From first going in to have a look at the MG cars to then test driving and then buying. Took it home today and we are so pleased with it. Lovely, friendly people to deal with and no pushiness to buy just good, honest advice and help. We will definitely be happy to work with them again.

I give 5 stars due to the outstanding service recieved by both Simon and Jamie. I was unsure on the whole electric car world and now they've changed my perception for the greater good. If you're looking for a no nonsense and no hassle approach to buying a new car I would highly recommend seeing either Jamie or Simon they were more than happy to help. 5 stars!!!
