It's true what they say: 'chips, curry sauce TO DIE FOR' on a cold day after rugby and friendly staff. Great! Why did that battered sausage sausage have to turn out to be one of those nasty, mass catering, zombie, 'meat' free efforts (like some evil, watery memory from my 1970s, Scottish childhood ) when there are lovely, porky, meaty, proper local sausages to have these days? Get foody, Glaws. Batter was LOVELY though! Xx

there chips and curry sauce are to die for really.Friendly staff.TIP ask for scrumps with your order they are FREE and DELICIOUS.me and my mum go there regularly as is opposite the Kingsolm rugby groundwell worth a visit well worth a tryexcellent 5 stars *****

This establishment is no longer cash only, you can pay by card. The food is reliable chip shop fare, prices are good, and the staff are particularly friendly. Top quality local chippy.

I have just eaten the worst fish ever from a chip shop. It was over cooked, tasteless and grossly overpriced. Over £10 for one portion of awful food. Dont eat the fish, its dreadful and ridiculously overpriced.

This is the best chip shop ever. Wish I lived closer. The staff are friendly, The chips was amazing as was the haddock, the batter tasted nice and not to much.

WOW! That’s all I can say. Was on a trip here and was struggling to find somewhere open for the times that I was there and stumbled across this takeaway on a google search. Glad I had!!The fish was fried to order and the chips were also fresh. Great portion sizes & packed well. All I can say is that it was all fried to perfection. The service was great too- I couldn’t have asked for more in any respect. Absolutely highly recommended!!!My only complaint is that they’ve set the bar ridiculously as I can’t travel an hour and a half just for fish and chips :)

Disappointed not what it used to be chips was stale fish cake was horrible had to throw it all out .it saddens me to do this review as it was joint favourite fish and chip shop .I hope they improve I will try again in future everyone deserves a chance
