Glotech Repairs and Appliance Sales

In total had 4 visits from 3 different engineers and 2 cancelled visits. One cancellation was 30 mins before to say the part had somehow got broken in the van on the way to us. Had to chase Glotech every time to arrange the next visit despite them saying they would arrange with us. In the end after 4 visits us paying for callout charge and paying for parts the dishwasher was still not fixed and the engineer said go back to the place where you bought it. Meant no dishwasher for us for 3 months. We are still waiting to be credited back for the parts that we paid for but were not fitted. Very poor service. And very costly for Glotech. In total 6 visits arranged with 4 taking place and 2 cancellations and in the end still didn’t fix the dishwasher. If this had been done professionally on the first visit would have saved Glotech a lot of money on wasted visits and we would have been a satisfied customer. Very unhappy overall.

Charged £82 call out fee for the engineer to not even inspect the 4 year old washing machine. Told to buy a new one. Our washing machine has been fixed by a proper engineer for half the cost of their call out fee today…do NOT recommend.

Claimed it was 24 hour and next day service, but they changed the appointed time by a few days. Cancelled and fixed it myself.

This company is absolutely unreliable and made me waste a lot of time.Booked an appointment to fix an appliance (oven), the engineer came and in 5mins decided that one part had to be replaced. After placing the order it took weeks for the part to be delivered to me. Since then we booked multiple appointments with engineers who never showed up, in all these weeks no one from Glotech ever called me to sort it out, I was always the one having to chase them, clearly they couldn't care less as the fee was already paid in advance.Long story short after weeks of failed appointments (they do not even know the engineers they work with) I had to sort it out myself with a different technician who fixed my oven in 1h... as the part Glotech claimed as broken was indeed perfectly functional, the issue was a different one altogether.So to recap, they made a wrong diagnostic and did not bother assist me in booking the repairs with an engineer.This all useless process took almost 2 months... I have no idea how this company is in business still.I am leaving 1 star as at least I got my money refunded.

My Admiral Tumble dryer is as good as new. I was so impressed with the service delivered by Glotech and the technician who did the repair work for me, thank you so very much. I have recommended Glotech to my family and friends.

Excellent price, excellent service. Great communication on repair progress and similar response from the attending engineers. My old dishwasher now fully rejuvenated. Highly recommend Glotech.

Contacted by telephone to confirm details in advance of job being done. Operator/engineer was knowledgeable, professional and gave excellent advice. Really impressed with service and approach.

Alex the engineer turned up when he was supposed to, he was polite, courteous and very professional and got my oven up and running again quickly......Thank you Glotec and Alex for making it all so seamless.Would definitely use this company again!

Came out for Miele dishwasher repair, water softener needs replacing, turn up with an inlet valve, no surprise, not fixed, softener now here, 1st visit cancelled for health problem, 2nd for untrained staff, 3rd for injury, 4th, just didn't show up. £500 into a 1k dishwasher now. Avoid, them will be on to trading standards if full refund is not received by the end of the week
