I wanted outdoor gloss paint. The prices were a shock. However a member of staff found me a slightly cheaper tin , very helpful. They usually have a great choice of items, this time they didn't. I always go there because the staff are really friendly.

5 stars solely for Martin, sorting the trolleys outside at B&Q Boston tonight. He saw we had a heavy item and came straight over to help us load it into the car, and even took the trolley back for us too. All with a smile. Top Gent, thank you Martin!

Good DIY store... shame about the disabled parking drainage - it was an inch under water when we visited so not great for loading the car! Wet feet ahoy!

My wife went in to the store this afternoon to purchase a new bedroom light.The one she wanted was on the top shelf so she asked for assistance, only to be told they couldn't help to get it down but go online and order it and they'll have it ready for tomorrow.We do not live locally so to go back is not that easy with a 60 minute round trip, she went there as our local branch did not have stock. Wish we hadn't bothered now.They obviously are doing that well they can afford to turn away paying customers.

Always plenty of stock, always polite staff and everythings easy to find.I appreciate the newer self checkout kiosks thats in place in most stores now, but if theres very little customers about, sometimes a little bit of interaction wouldn't hurt from the staff.

Well laid out and tidy store. Good stock levels. Helpful staff. The self checkouts appeared a little tempramental during my most recent visit. Use the traditional checkouts if you have age-restricted products for a faster exit.
