I definitely recommend Sundragon! I've been coming to classes since the beginning of 2022 and have found it to be such a supportive and chilled out space. The teaching is wonderful and makes pottery super accessible.

I did a 6 week course, learnt how to use the wheel (which I loved) Great fun, approachable teachers, good atmosphere and well worth it. Thankyou.

I've been attending a pottery class at Sundragon since June, doing both wheelwork and handbuilding. It's a great place and my teacher Kate is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I love going every week and hope to become a member one day. I highly recommend their courses.

Can't recommend this place enough! Kate is an excellent tutor and an open, warm person. There is a super friendly atmosphere, great facilities, everything is provided and for such a reasonable price. I've learnt so much and definitely coming back for more courses.

I had been meaning to try wheelwork pottery for quite some time but the prices were absolutely extortionate. I am so pleased I came across this incredible, reasonably priced community studio who really do put people before profits. My course instructor Ian is inspiring, patient and supportive. The classes are always engaging and it really is the most therapeutic activity (minus the clean up at the end!)Thank you Ian!

I have completed 2 beginners courses now and absolutely love it! My tutor Nessa is super lovely and explains things with so much patience (it can take me a while to pick up new things). The whole environment is really welcoming and put me at ease despite being a total rookie! I also love how sundragon practice sustainability and nothing goes to waste. I adore everything i have created, and friends also love the gifts i have crafted for them. Couldn't shout more positive words about this wonderful establishment :)

I did a 6 week pottery course over summer, learning throwing, pinch pots and hand building. The entire centre is a lovely supportive place to be. Especially my tutor Nessa, with unending patience (thank you!) and guidance I left feeling that I had really learnt the foundations of a new skill. The courses are very reasonably priced and you leave with pieces you have made yourself to keep or give to friends!

Amazing pottery studio! I've been on two six-week courses here and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. Everyone is super friendly and I've learnt a lot about pottery whilst having a good time. The tutors are fantastically knowledgeable and eager to help you create whatever you like out of the clay. The facilities, tools and materials provided are all of the highest standard. If you're thinking about giving it a go then don't hesitate!
