I use the Abbey, with colleagues, for academic writing retreats and cannot rate it highly enough. The food is fantastic, the community who run the Abbey are incredibly helpful, and the peace and tranquility is wonderful. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. It is a wonderful place to think, work and relax all at once.

The Abbey has a warm, welcoming community, gorgeous grounds to roam, beautiful and historic houses to stay, and wonderful food all made from scratch for the guests. The walled garden serves as a great place to relax, and the property hosts a perfect environment for meditation and reflection.

Ate a meal hosted by resident chef Olivier. It was sublime. The Abbey is a fascinating and very lovely 1300 historic location.

Expensive for the size of the dishes. Too long wait. Non very professional staff. Cozy pub.
