Papa Johns Pizza

We've ordered delivery a number of times and 90% of the time it arrives late, and when it does arrive there's almost always something wrong with the order (like not getting the stuffed crust that was ordered).Calling the store to complain is of no use either. Don't waste your time or money here.

Picked up our collection then got back home to find that the camembert bites that we ordered were actually potato tots, despite the box saying otherwise.Called and spoke to a clueless member of staff who passed me over to her useless manager.Apparently, they have stopped selling camembert bites, so rather than telling the customer this, they are just replacing any orders with potato tots and staying quiet.I explained that this is not acceptable but unfortunately I did not get any kind of care or resolution. They refused to give a partial refund or even deliver a different side of our choice. They just stuck to their story that they have stopped selling camembert bites, like I was in the wrong for ordering them??Absolutely shocking customer service and I will be making a formal complaint to head office.

I put in an order at 19:15, I then called to find out where my order was at 20:30 and was told that it was out for delivery, waited another half an hour and called again at 21:00 to be told again it was out for delivery. The person I was speaking to didn’t care how long I had been waiting and didn’t offer a refund or a voucher which I think should’ve been offered for how long I had been waiting, especially when I have a little boy who was waiting for his dinner and now has to go to bed late because he’s eating so late! I ordered from there before and it was a long wait but gave the benefit of the doubt and tried again and again I have been let down. I will only be ordering from dominoes from now on for pizza.

I went in with a friend to have a look whilst he ordered a pizza we went in and was stood waiting for approximately 5 minutes we seen no staff at all until someone cleaning walked through and came back and asked if we was collecting and we said we was ordering so he said he will go get someone to serve and a minute later the person serving came out and took the order.I can't comment on food as I didn't order anything and not really a pizza person but I can comment on the experience.The place is well done out and looks nice there is some seating well a couple bar stools so more for just whilst you wait seating.The staff to me almost seemed like it was just a job until they fined something else or only received basic training it's a area that could be improved.Although it's yet another food shop it's nice to se a once empty shop being used and by a known brand that attracts people to come to midsomer Norton from surrounding areas.

They were fine few times I ordered before, but today was just ridiculous and it’s funny, cause I ordered from them almost all the same stuff and everything came as it should. I customised my pizza to have no chillies on it and yesterday that’s what was taken off of it as I asked. Today however they decided to disregard it and just sent me pizza with chillies thinking I won’t realise. Well, I did. I customised it to not have it cause I CANT HAVE CHILLIES AS IM ALLERGIC. Thankfully spotted said chillies, my bf tried it and confirmed they were indeed chillies, so I didn’t touch it, but if I did I’d be on the way to the hospital now. Moreover, ordered cauliflower wings, they sent potato tots. Called them about it, said they didn’t have cauliflower wings so they sent potato tots and as a compensation they’ll send cauliflower wings and a large pizza for free upcoming Tuesday, which I doubt they will but I’ll update this review on Tuesday to confirm if they’re liars or not. Ordered normal pepsi max, got cherry one. It took 1.5 hours for them to deliver food I couldn’t even eat, cause they didn’t customise it like I asked and my allergen was on the pizza that was for me and my cauliflower wings didn’t get here either, so yeah. Appreciate keeping me hungry and almost putting me in the hospital/killing me. After 40 minutes of food showing as our for the delivery I called in, lady picked up and confirmed my order is out for delivery for over half an hour already and should be with me in 5 to 10 minutes. It wasn’t. After additional 25 minutes my bf called, another person picked up and said they JUST SENT OUT my order. My bf confronted the guy and said his colleague said something different just half an hour ago, but he denied everything and said the order just went out and that was it. After that phone call took 20 minutes to get here, so I don’t know which one of them lied. Anyway, if you have allergies don’t order from them, cause they don’t always care about your customisations as shown today. They really are lucky my bf spotted those chillies cause it really would be a life and death situation if I ate it. Waiting for Tuesday to see if they really send me free cauliflower wings and large pizza. But yeah, I won’t place the order with them anymore. I don’t appreciate being lied to and I don’t want to drop dead cause they don’t customise items all the time. I guess they just choose which day they care enough to do so and which ones they don’t and send whatever. Also, they don’t give reward points anymore even tho they tell you they do after placing every order. Just scummy.

Awful experience - Reading the recent reviews I wonder how concerned they are given that Dominos is next door?! 2 weeks ago the order took 1.5hrs to arrive. When it did, the pizza was as appetising as the cardboard packaging. Not to be deterred, I tried again this week. After 2 hours it hadn't arrived - nobody answering the phone so I had to go there myself. Half the order was sitting there waiting, the other half not started. I refused the order and demanded a refund (£40 isn't cheap) only to be told I have to email customer services." Take my advice and order from Dominos instead. I'm never using this Papa John's again.See they've responded with a standard reply. I did (inconveniently) email customer services. Got a response 8 days later asking for order details which I provided. Never heard from them again

I order for my myself and my partner and 2 kids and spent £31.98 and took a hour to turn up and it finally arrived cold and very under cook felt like it was made from the day before and I phoned back and asked for a refund got told to do it online because they didn’t have access to a refund hung up. Then phoned back to ask for a manager told that they wasn’t in till later on in the today / tomorrow told he was calling me at 6:00-6:30 and been ask to wait a again 1 hour for a call back I shouldn’t have this at all from papa johns but this is shocking. And my partner had been sick from the food.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about... Been scared to order for the past few weeks because of the reviews. Ordered today via the app for home delivery. Pizza arrived in less than 25 minutes. Hot. Fresh. Speedy delivery. P.P.Js standard quality pizza. Will order again. A good PPJ's beat Domino's anyway day of the week. I'll let you know in 24hrs if I still feel the same.

I think the poor reviews are from when this place had just opened and may well have had teething problems. We ordered 2 pizzas and wings last night, it arrived on time and was delicious! It was easy to order on the app, prices were decent, the service was good, there was plenty of choice, both garlic sauces were really tasty, I ate all the crust (normally I leave it as I’m not a fan) and it didn’t give me heartburn like other takeaway pizzas. So really impressed and will be ordering again. Even our cats wanted a slice!
