CRISPY DOSA RESTAURANT
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this crispy dosa in Reading and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Pooja, our server for the evening. Her genuine smile and welcoming demeanor set the tone for what turned out to be a fantastic meal. The restaurant's ambiance was cozy and authentically decorated, creating a soothing atmosphere that transported me straight to the heart of South India. As I perused the menu, Pooja was more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had about the dishes. When the food arrived, it exceeded my expectations. The flavors were rich and varied, capturing the essence of South Indian cuisine perfectly. From the crispy dosas to the flavorful sambar, every dish was a delight to the senses. Pooja's attentiveness throughout the meal truly enhanced the experience; she ensured that everything was to our liking and even took the time to explain the origins of certain dishes. What truly stood out was Pooja's dedication to making sure every guest felt at home. Her warmth and personalized service made the evening feel like a special occasion. She was attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance. In a city filled with dining options, this South Indian restaurant, with Pooja as the server, stands out for its exceptional food, inviting ambiance, and top-notch service. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable culinary experience.

We went twice. The first time it was ghee roast dosa which was massive and yummy. Idli was perfect. And paratha was good. But the dal tadka was ok. The tea was amazing. Service was good. Friendly. Ambience is ok. Quite a few options of desserts to choose from. Gulab jamun was ok.The second time we went, it was not such a good experience. The service was good and the atmosphere was ok. This time the Pani Puri wasn't so good. Guntur paneer was definitely not worthy for us which was suggested by the manager there. Badam milk was good. Schezwan fried rice was definitely the worst option to choose from. Too much colour. Not appetizing. Paratha and paneer butter masala was really good so we were saved there. Idli vada was a good option again. So half of our order was not good for us to eat. It was slightly expensive for the taste. Not sure of coming back.

first we went for a dine in last week it was really good experience as one of the staff was friendly and food was very delicious that i even asked the ingredients for perfect texture they had but the second time today it was a take-out(05/09/23) is the worst they have given us food which are not fresh I'm pretty sure they're not made for us i.e., bonda, dosa and paneer masala and idli are not at all good im not even sure whether he is the same chef utterly disappointed thanks for the restaurant staff will never visit the this place again.....

A Mixed Experience at the South Indian Buffet Morning BreakfastI recently visited a restaurant that offered a South Indian buffet for morning breakfast, featuring a variety of delicious dishes like dosa, idli, vada, and uppama. While the food overall was good, there were a few aspects that left me with mixed feelings about my experience.Let’s start with the positives. The buffet spread had a decent selection of South Indian breakfast items, and the flavors were authentic and enjoyable. The dosas were crispy and flavorful, and the idlis were soft and fluffy. The vadas had a perfect crunch, and the uppama was well-seasoned. It was evident that the chefs put effort into preparing the dishes. However, one downside of the experience was the long wait for the dosas. Despite the delicious taste, the wait time was quite frustrating. It seemed like the restaurant was understaffed in the live counter section, resulting in a delay in getting freshly made dosas. This issue affected the overall efficiency of the buffet experience.Furthermore, I was disappointed to find out that my child was charged the adult rate. It is common practice for restaurants to have a reduced rate for children, but in this case, they charged the full adult price. This left a negative impression as it felt unfair and not customer-friendly.On a positive note, the tea was not ready and we were prepared to leave as people were waiting. The waiter insisted for take away , and that tea was truly remarkable and stood out as the best part of my experience. The flavors were rich and aromatic, and it was evident that great care was taken in its preparation. I appreciated the waiter’ commitment and thoroughly enjoyed the tea.In conclusion, the South Indian buffet morning breakfast at this restaurant offered a satisfying variety of dishes, but the experience had its ups and downs. The food itself was good, with standout items like dosa and tea. However, the long wait for dosas and the disappointment of being charged the adult rate for my child detracted from the overall experience. If the restaurant can address these issues, it has the potential to provide an even better dining experience in the future.
