My thanks to Daldowie Crematorium for all their help and assistance over the last ten years. Here at Fosters Funeral Directors are one of the three largest family own and run funeral directors in Scotland. We pride ourselves on being able to help families from all religions and if you require a small private funeral to grand public affair, Fosters Funeral Directors can cater for all.Over the last 10 years Fosters Funeral Directors have seen some changes, however we have instigated many of them. 10 years ago families would call a funeral director and ask them to take care of their loved ones funeral without any mention of price and over that time we have manage to promote asking for quotations to make families more aware of the varied costs of in the market place. The Good Funeral Guide will indicate that using independent family firms will provide you with better service at a better price as their name and reputation counts on it. They can now be as much as £2000+ of a difference for the exact same funeral at the Co-Op Funeralcare and Dignity. Please always remember, even if someone close passes suddenly, you are not tied to using the first company you run across on the row of your local shops, left the phone book, search the internet, make and informed decision. A family own company can remove your loved one from a multi national company and take them into their care, this happens every day as some families are rushed into making a decision quickly if its a sudden death. For any further help please call or email, many thanks.

Evonne McLaughlin . What an incredible Humanist Celebrant. When you celebrated Pat Miller's life on 21/9/22, I was touched by your empathy. When you spoke about Pat, you sounded like like an old friend. You conveyed her life beautifully. Thank you.Elizabeth McAllister. X

My beloved father's funeral was held here, Bank Holiday Monday, May 1985. His ashes were scattered in the garden of rememberance, and my late mother and I had his details written in one of the memorial books. A sad day, but the authorities/crem staff as well as the Co-Operative Funeral Services, did us and him proud. Lovingly remembered still. Donald.A.D.Mackenzie, 1928 to 1985.

I'm very disappointed with the gardens and lack of maintenance. The pathway surrounding the chapels are full of moss and the weeds are so high they are appearing above the loved ones benches and this is where my parents bench lies. The grass at Glade one is rarely cut and the benches which line the glade has grass growing above them.Very disappointed!

Very disappointed had booked for scattering ashes with elderly aunt and uncle, family members, staff very unhelpful except one matter who was a cleaner. As it was our first time scattering the ashes thought we would have got instructions as to what happens, called the office very abrupt member of the staff couldn't get of phone quick enough. When arriving bo staff about eventually had to go and try find an office, the Male member was a bit helpful by transferring the ashes. When he came round to meet us not as helpful as if he couldn't care. Was asked where we could scatter the ashes still waiting on reply.

This is a very well kept place and is serene considering how close it is to nearby main roads. My Dad was cremated here in October 2013 as was my Mum in June 2014. The staff couldn’t have shown more respect and were very helpful.
