Took my car in for a new altenator and battery, all was well until i drove it home and my engine started smoking and had a message on my dash to check coolant level, phoned to ask why my coolant was empty which was full the day i took it in, was told to take it round as 'it may have been disturbed' had my car another full day and told me that i had a cracked pipe which they may have caused but they had replaced it and topped up all my fluids...great! To take it back out that night and the same to happen again pulled over into a garage lone behold my coolant was empty again (cant have topped it up i though) come friday night out in the car again same happens again! Took it to my usual mechanic for him to tell me i have a snapped pipe!! (The same pipe you were meant to have relplaced) £250 for one job to be done for you to cause unnecessary damage and cost me a further £100! I wasnt the only unhappy customer that day either to go around the shop and hear 2 other complaints first and last time! Shocking customer service, id ask for my money back but no doubt only be fobbed off!.....cowboys

My usual excellent service. Autoparts is a great place to go to for a service, pre MOT check and your MOT, even a rattle in your car is sorted out without fuss. Why do I go....., found quite a few take advantage of a female driver. Not Autoparts.

I highly not recommend this service. Unprofessional, rude, aggressive during complaints and dishonest. Lost a lot of time a money! I warn you if you have bigger problem to fix than changing of light bulb.

The owner of the business is a very nice man. He would do everything to help you. Very patient and a range of good quality work.I would recommend this Garage for any job you need.

Friendly service and advice. Great low prices! Sometimes a car shop can be intimidating for a woman but I felt at ease straight away. I’ll be coming back for all my car needs!

I took my car to autoparts Thornaby and found them to be very courteous helpfull and friendly I left the car with them overnight and called back the very next day when the issue was solved.

Called in today at short notice and left my car with them for an hr and they fixed my light straight away so pleased and great service will definitely use again

If I could give none i would. I took my car down for a timing belt change. Got told the job would take one day, I got my car back 4 days later. Charged me £410 and when I turned my car over it was screaming. Instead of acknowledging this and fixing it, I was argued with black and blue about how my car was already making that noise. My car was took in for preventive maintenance not a repair. The belt had not snapped it just needing replacing. He told be repeatedly it wasn't his issue and the car was already making this noise upon arrival.In the middle of this his daughter comes over with threats to smash my car up.So I did not even feel safe leaving my vehicle there anymore.I had had a mechanic look and give me a second opinion and it turns out he has not done the timing correctly whatsoever. And could of actually causes engine damage.I tried to message him on fb to see what he was willing to do about the situation and he blocked me.NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE IVE EVER WENT.
