Stewarts Motorcycle Repairs

Absolute gem of a find!!He fit me in last minute for a puncture repair and did a superb job, as one would expect, but you'd be surprised how many mechanics local to me struggle with these things, whilst charging way above their own expertise.Stewart is the opposite. Totally genuine bloke, exceptionally well priced and highly skilled.I'm sad I'm moving out of the area as I would trust Stewart to work on my bike for much bigger jobs as good motorcycle mechanics are really hard to find.

Recently popped in to see Stewart and pick up some plugs for the Fireblade. Was greeted with the expected amount of banter/abuse. Great to catch up with you Stewart it's been far too long. I've been going to Stewart for spares,repairs and general chat and banter for 20+ years. I highly recommend the chap. Bike repairs with character give him a call.

Stewart’s Motorbike repair saved me at short notice. Was stopped by the police were another garage left my chain dangerous loose.Took to Stewart’s who took one look and advised me what was required the time frame and parts and labour cost which was amazingly reasonable price.Few days later my girls back on the road riding like a new bike.The owner topped up the oil and made other minor repairs without further charge.Il be using this garage in the further for all my motorbike repairs!Thanks again for getting me out a tight spot

Stewart’s got me out a very tight spot with last minute repairs.We was stopped by police after another garage left my chain dangerously loose.Ride to Stewart’s who assessed the repairs advised me with one look advised me of required repairs provide me a very reasonable quote and completed the repairs very fastI am grateful for Stewart’s assistance and getting me out of a very dangerous situationThe owner also topped up reg oil did some minor repairs with no extra chargeWill be using this garage for my future repairs services and would highly recommendThanks again!

I first visited Stewarts Motorcycles after having some unsatisfactory work done at another repairer (basically they were unable to sort out a carburettor problem and had actually made it worse).Stewart agreed to overhaul both carburettors and fitted new jets and valves as necessary. The bike is now running better than it ever has.In addition to this, he also replaced the fork seals and steering head bearings, which has vastly improved the handling.I will definitely be taking the bike back to Stewarts for all future work, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone else. He obviously knows his stuff, and is a very nice bloke to deal with - very unusual in this day and age.

This is over priced. The work was just fitting a crash and 12 Volt usb port. I should have done by myself. The part cost only £200. He charged the labour cost as £312. Please don't go there, Absolute Lute. Check the bill

Very helpful and friendly. Stewarts is one of the last the old-school garages around. Make use of them or they will one day dissapear.I was recommended by my old man to come here. He'd had some machining done on his race cars disc brakes and Stewart was the only person with the capabilities to do the work.I came in with a simpler requirement of needing 2 new tyres for my bike. Not only was his price better than some local bigger garages but he also took a quick look at my brake pads and calipers while the wheels were off and adjusted my clutch that was a little too tight.A+ service. Will be going back and highly recommend.

I stumbled upon Stewart's Motorcycle website a couple of months ago - thanks to the recommendations on a Triumph forum! Visited Stewart a couple of times, and every time I did I learned a thing or two. Fantastic mechanic; great knowledge and experience, peppered with lovely sarcasm :) I know that my motorcycle is in safe hands -- that's all that matters!
