I am relatively new to the care profession and have worked for Home Instead Oxford for just over a year. I wanted to do something worthwhile - part time and also be appreciated.I can honestly say, the company, staff and clients do all this and make you feel part of a Team. Clients have a range of needs and it is very rewarding to feel you make a difference to each individual person and their family. Make someone laugh - make their day - care -thats what HomeInstead is about.

I have worked at HI for nearly three years following 19yrs in a Community Hospital-part of my role is now admin - I'd believed I was computer literate-but I really didn't have a clue!I was given lots of support and persuaded that I could do this- I didn't give up though tempted at times!I still make mistakes but with the help of a strong team love what I do and will remain here- hopefully- until I retire!

I have worked for Homestead for the past four years. It’s a great company to work for they’re always there to help from the day You start and go into the office for your training until you go out to meet clients, day and night there’s always somebody on the end of the phone if you have a problem, they always try to match care professionals with a client that might have the same interests and you don’t just go into the clients home ,we also take clients out we take them to football theatre shopping lunch or we just go in and have a chat. It’s whatever the client wants you to do it’s a great company to be a part of
