This gentleman done all my alterrations in time I was panicking but he assured me it would be done on time and it was.

Brought a leather jacket into the store to get some buttons altered. After repeatedly showing him exactly what I wanted he sewn them in the wrong place. I brought the jacket back into the store once I give it thorough inspection at home and he proceeded to say that he put them wonky because there's where I asked him to put them. I wasn't happy about being denied a refund or being made out to be a liar. So after pleading with him to give me my money back he then Chucks the 20 pound note at me. I certainly will not be going back there ever again. He's a very short tempered owner, comes across very passive and when there's a problem the customer is always wrong.

AVOID this shop like the plague, i took my daughters prom dress to get altered it was horrendous and very nearly ruined her dress all the beads kept falling off but that wasnt there fault!!!!!, there was beads missing from the back i asked them to put them back on they didnt , they hadnt cut the netting underneath properly and left it half done there were holes in the top of it my daughter was in bits and got upset . We finally went to pick it up after these people having it for 5 weeks of trying to get it put right , walked in there was another young lady wanting to pick her prom dress up that was the next day they hadnt even done hers she was so upset , then 2 other ladies walked in and were had a go at so i took her dress which they charged me a fortune to mess up .i eventually found a lovely shop in hartlepool who sorted it out and would recommend.

took 3 pairs of brand new suit trousers into this shop, which was advertising outside claiming it could be done the same day. I was told this would take a week. I told them I was not in a rush and would rather have the job done properly. Also amazed at the cost, £65 for 3 trouser alterations seems abit steep to me. I went back the following week to a rather flustered man rummaging round bags for my trousers which hadn’t even been touched. I was told to come back the following day, even though I was told it would take a week? I should of took them and walked away instead I returned the next day to collect them and the horrendous quality job they had done. One pair was of reasonable quality however the other two were poor; (understatement) the stitching for the hem I could see from the outside!, misshapen, uneven length had not been pressed in anyway. Subsequently I have had to go to another shop for this to be corrected. With one pair completely unsavagable. AVOID!!!

Took my bridesmaid dress in to be altered which was 4-5 inches too long, New Stitch did a perfect job with a week's turnaround

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!If there was a zero rating, it would be!Took an expensive shirt to be fitted and the job was disgraceful. Used blue permanent marker for sizing and it has been left where the adjustments have been made on a white shirt. The adjustments are uneven and the stitching is terrible, also the material has not been removed. I asked for reasoning why the job was unsatisfactory and I received a reply of; this is how it is meant to look. I have been a tailor for 50 years. Now please leave." I also took jeans to be adjusted

Of I could leave zero stars I would. Just took my son for school trousers £16.50 a pair took them straight here to get took up and gave them to someone else ... never offered a refund still fighting to get something back ..

Took a jacket in to have the pocket repaired, the guy completed there and then for free. It was only a small, quick job but it was also a really kind gesture. Thank you.
