Brilliant hotel, I felt well taken care of. All the staff are so nice, they couldn't do more for you. The food was amazing, it's worth staying here just for the food. The hotel room was spacious and well equipped, bathroom nice and spacious with boutique toiletries. There's even a cafetiere in the room but the bed was so comfy I overslept and didn't have time to enjoy early coffee :) all in all perfect. Great atmosphere, it feels very homely.

My husband and I stayed overnight and was very impressed by The White Hart . The staff were very welcoming on arrival . My room ( which are separate from the pub so very quiet) was a good size , very well presented and spotlessly clean . The en-suite was modern with a good shower . We arrived late so unpacked and went into the bar area after where there was some live music and a nice atmosphere .Next morning breakfast was served from 8 until 10 with a very good choice . I had Eggs Florentine which was delicious my husband had a Full English which was plentiful. It’s a very good location for all the historical sites locally .Very good service , accommodation and location .Thank you for a great stay , we would definitely stay here again .

Spacious Room for the price at rear of pub. Quiet, only complaint was we didn't have any milk or enough teabags for 2 days ...but this was rectified. No wi-fi all weekend but believe this was the suppliers fault and not the pub. Free parking on site but has to be registered at the pub. We didn't have the breakfast as we had family nearby but we would definitely use them again.

Nice welcome from friendly staff and first impression of the room was favourable. Lovely white clean bed linen and towels, and enough toiletries in the bathroom. I had the disabled room (not requested) and the shower washed over most of the wet room floor. Apart from the main door into the rooms, there was a french door - so it was not possible to have a window open for fresh air ventilation overnight. Heating very good from a small wall radiator, and excellent heated towel rail. Unfortunately the room was quite noisy due to other guests talking outside and suitcases being rolled by the room on both sides, and a very noisy barking dog in the next room. Excellent tea/coffee in the room, with the most delicious biscotti (home made??), and staff kindly gave me a flask of cold, fresh milk to take back to my room. Good lighting in the room, and I noticed that there was a hairdryer in the bedside tables drawer. TV fine. Sufficient storage space for a short holiday. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy and bed moderately comfortable. The dining area in the pub was very cold which meant eating my evening meal whilst wearing a coat. The temperature at breakfast time was just as low. Evening meal was tasty and a very generous portion size, and it was served on hot plates. Unfortunately the breakfast was served on a cold plate, and the English breakfast itself was overcooked. Despite these grumbles I would definitely visit again, and would recommend this hotel without question.

Didn't stay at the hotel but rooms were great from speaking to some of the guests who did. A welcome and friendly atmosphere greeted us on the Friday evening, along with friendly and engaging locals which put the White Hart far above the other pubs we visited in the village. Went back on the Saturday evening and had brilliant evening with great food, beer and live entertainment. All in all a fantastic couple of days and our thanks go to Olly for making our time there a great one.

We were on our way home and it was a long journey so we chose here to stay overnight. It was perfect, a lovely country pub not too far from the M4 . It certainly ticked all the boxes and we were definitely not disappointed. Very helpful staff, good food and really reasonable prices also a comfortable clean room. Loved the cafetière in the room and delicious little biscuits a really nice touch! Easy to find and park and a quiet, pretty location. Will almost certainly call again and thank you for being everything that you say you are .

We loved our stay at the White Hart! Rooms were clean, staff were super friendly, and the food was excellent. Graham and his team have done a great job making guests feel like part of their community. Can’t wait to go back!

I visited The White hart in August and was struck by how bright and cheerful the staff were. They were Polite and attentive. The Manager even took some time to chat with us about the local area which was a refreshing change to most managers. The food was too notch and it’s a dog friendly pub too.To finish off the pub itself is beautiful.Honestly a fantastic experience all round.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely food, beautifully cooked, and a warm atmosphere. The gluten free options are abundant including the Sunday roast with gravy and there is a menu for your dog! Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thank you!
