Pleasant surroundings with clean toilets. Savoury food is expensive. Sweets & puddings are just sugary & awful. If more than 4 customers are in expect to wait a considerable time.

One member of staff was brilliant, but she seemed to be let down by the rest of the team. Consequently there were longer queues than necessary, and a simple food order took a long time to arrive (nearly half an hour, for soup, having queued for long time too). So a quick lunch-stop took an awful long time on this occasion. The soup was delicious though. We sat outside in the courtyard on a beautiful day, and usually there is an indoor room where you can take dogs, but on the day of our visit it was being used for a meeting, so unfortunately that can't be relied upon.

Been again to the glorious Temple Newsam. A gorgeous day in stunning grounds and very dog friendly. However once again enormous queues in the cafe and little corner coffee/ice cream shop. Come on Leeds council investment in staff is needed. This was the same as when I came about 3 months ago. Let's the visitor experience down completely - so sad when it is easily rectified.

Nice cafe, staff nice but food worse than mediocre, small portions and overpriced. Pasta over cooked mush, food portions considered 2/3 size of what you’d expect for adult dishes. If prices reflected the quality and sizes it wouldn’t feel like robbery!

Nice little tea room, let down by a very poor ordering process and inflexible staff.Queued for 10 mins (while 1 member of staff hung around waiting to fulfil orders) and got to the front of the queue at 11.31am due to a previous customer working out with a friend who was going to pay for what item. 'Sorry, we don't serve breakfast after 11.30'.Managed to purchase a coffee at least !

Excellent special Christmas lunch with friends, Turkey with all the trimmings all piping hot, followed by a warm Mince pie and a glass of wine, all in beautiful surroundings. Superb.

The standards have really dropped here and prices are through the roof. Really enjoyed this cafe 12 months ago although pricey the food was good and presented well. Now it’s not much better than a transport cafe, Very disappointed and won’t be going back any time soon.

Had the Framers breakfast along with a coffee and apple juice for under 10 bucks. Just the beverage along was half that cost making for a hearty and economical meal. Staff were great, attentive and had great patience

Nice building, and a good selection. But don't bother with the fruit" scones - they're a joke. Barely any fruit in them! (See photo for the remnants of what I had.)"
