Waggy Tails Rescue Dorset

We got our dog from these good folks many years ago.They have supported whenever we have needed them.If you are thinking you need a dog in your life (and you live in their area) then talk to these guys first.

After getting all the way to attending the presentation, we saw that most of the volunteers were pleasant enough and it was nice to meet the dogs. Sheila really let us down though as she was very patronising & rude, and honestly made me want to walk out of the place as I felt very disrespected after my conversation with her. We understood that Waggy Tails need to be firm/strict when it comes to rehoming dogs - however this is not a free pass to be rude.

Beautiful caring people many of whom are volunteers, whose dedication and love for Animals that need to be found a new home is absolutely without question"!!!"

We have just adopted 2 dogs from them. They do fabulous work with the animals dedicated and very friendly

I do not understand these bad reviews. This place is wonderful. They are professional and care deeply for their animals. We got our doggy from here and we attended the meeting, had someone over the next week to see the house, a week later we met with our potential doggy again, a few days later a home visit and we got him a few days after that. Everything ran smoothly. They are so helpful and if we ever wanted a second rescue dog we would definitely come here again. Thank you for all the hard work you do for these doggies and for our Samson (Dave) ❤

Time wasters. Went through the process, were told we had passed home visit, vets reference etc. Went up to see them and meet a couple of dogs. Not allowed to meet the dogs when we arrived. I don't think they really want to re-home. Everyone we've spoken to since about our experience has told us similar stories about how they are time wasters and don't seem to want to home rescue dogs.

Absolutely appauling. Do not engage with them!!I really wish I had read the reviews before filling out the application to apply for a dog. That way I would have saved myself from the blatantly rude and condescending manner of Shelagh; I truly hope her character does not reflect how they care for the poor animals they rescue".Having gone through the process
