Nantwich Pet Vets (Medivet Nantwich 24 hour)

I just want to say a massive thank you to all the staff/vets at this practice. My dog started having cluster seizures last night, and they are the closest 24 hour vet, and even though they are not an emergency vets there was no hesitation about seeing my girl. Everything was explained thoroughly, and I was kept up to date with her progress as she had to have an overnight stay. Everybody was really friendly and helped make a tough, worrisome night a little bit easier!

Very friendly and helpful receptionist, made our 1st visit memorable and even took a photo of the vet with our fur baby Bella.

I have contacted this practice on a bank holiday and was pleasantly surprised with the response time and immediate attention given to my cat. She has ingested what I found out later to be a blade of grass and it was lodged between her nose and mouth. For 250 pounds my cat has been examined, given sedation and received a flush of nose+mouth in hopes of dislodging this grass blade. Allegedly a 5-6cm piece of grass has been taken out. Within 20 minutes we got home and I noticed something sticking out of my cat’s nose- I pulled out a full blade of grass from her nose, it is on the picture. This is appalling inattention to detail and I was not reassured by a phone conversation with one of the nurses handling my cat. I strongly advise to consider how urgently you need help with your pet before contacting this 24/7 practice - I know I am not coming back for anything.

Always helpful & passionate about animal welfare. I was dealing with a stray cat & castration. He's home again now, (best situation as hes becoming friendly after weeks of feeding & patience) Staff recommended where I could obtain a neutering voucher.Whole practice is 'a font of knowledge ' and people who care, from staff nurses who foster, to Hayley who'll always help the best she can.Highly recommend these guys.

The treatment received (ongoing) has been first rate. Staff are very friendly, as is the vet we're seeing. Our dog's life has been massively improved following the op on his eyes. Highly recommend these guys.

I've been to a few vets now and honestly I couldn't recommend a better vet than Nantwich! I have a cat who we have to make regular visits with and they are just amazing with her and always have an answer for us ... It took forever to get a diagnosis for her until we came here. They care so much and always follow up! Absolutely brilliant in all areas!

Friendly staff, but I am disappointed that it always takes two visits before any treatment takes place. The first visit has been a misdiagnosis and a waste of £60. This has been with our cat and dog on the last 3 visits. The more experienced vets usually get it right. Not happy.

To a dog I had found roaming the streets in freezing conditions. Very helpful, thankfully owner found as the dog was chipped.

Out-of hours vet called on Sunday evening who gave sound advice. First thing Monday morning I was offered an appointment, diagnosis was made and treatment given. First class service.
