Ban Thai Massage and Spa

Really disappointed. My gift voucher was a few weeks out of date, and they would not honour it. I explained as a new mum, working full time, I hadn't found time to book yet, but there was no understanding or compassion. Very poor customer service, the lady was very quick to end the conversation. Terrible service.

Cold room, you cannot be naked in a cold room and trying to relax. At the phone she said a price and then she asked for more money. You can have a better massage for less money. To me, it doesn't worth the money you spend. By the way CASH ONLY repeated 20 times before the massage.

I’ve trained with Master Nikki and received many massages from her and have never experienced anything similar, the best place to go if you’re looking to heal and better yourself !!

Very poor customer services, they wouldn’t honour a voucher that had expired a few days ago and even called me a liar about the expiry date…. They totally refused to negotiate or accommodate….

Over the years I have tried numerous Thai massages, and have to say that Ban Thai is by far the best.The staff were so friendly from the moment I arrived through to leaving.As for the massage, I opted for a deep tissue, which was amazing. I left feeling extremely relaxed, and am looking forward to my next session.

Had a voucher for my birthday in June 2022 didn’t realise it only had 6 months to use before it expired! I called yesterday to ask to use it plus pay a little more to have an hours massage and was told I couldn’t use the voucher, but I could pay in full for an hours massage.I explained it ran out 2 days beforeChristmas and they would have been shut so it was basically only 1 week out of the expiry date, but they would not budge! That’s there policy I was told and that’s it. Thanks and goodbye! That is the last time I will be purchasing anything from this company! Just poor customer understanding and just money grabbing!!!

had an hour massage about 6 months ago, and its nowhere likes its old quality, the lady got bored in the last 20 minutes and was doing basically nothing, wouldnt recommend anymore. Also seems like there is alot more women in here now, seems weird.

Really disappointed, my husband bought me a voucher for Mother’s Day for £60 and I didn’t realise the expiry date was for 6 months so it expired which was my mistake. It was only by a couple of weeks so I called hoping they’d be understanding but they were rude and kept repeating the terms and conditions at me. Zero understanding and not even sorry.

My sister who lives in Ireland bought me 3 x gift vouchers for a combined Christmas and 50th birthday present totalling £170. I have just gone in for the 1st of those appointments and have been told that the vouchers have expired as they were only valid for 6th months. I told them that nowhere on the voucher does it state that they are only valid for 6 months and after contacting my sister she tells me that at no point was she made aware of this as she would simply not have bought them. As a note at the time of writing this the vouchers were bought 6 months AND 3 days ago, And they refused to honour them. The top this off the manager was Unnecessarily rude and aggressive and was smirking which led me to believe she was getting pleasure from telling me they had expired. And reading back through the reviews they have done exactly the same thing to unbelievably 20% of all the reviews on here, Which you can imagine would total to quite a few hundreds of pounds. The whole thing has left me feeling really sad like someone has stolen from me…not nice. So take from this what you will but as a point worth mentioning I run a business in Southend and we offer our clients vouchers and I would never dream of doing what they have just done to me in a million years.
