Disappointed with the nursery. The nursery nurses are not trained, they do not look after kids. We had many times incidents and none of them knew what has happened even baby was crying. When we came to pick up our kid, they told us Everything absolutely was fine" this was the phrase they always say like a robot-automatically no matter what has happened. Then we found out that our lo was bitten 3 times on both hands

I had the worse experience ever my son had been neglected even a simple task as given his his high engine milk was missed 4 times in 16 sessions.2 observations.his head was bruised no explanation.Speech and therapy applied a few face massages were not done. The management was the worse part full of excuse blamed work force and lies all through. Will be take it further with ofsted as no way its outs at and the level of neglect my special needs son had got is unfair.

Ideally situated near Media City with easy access to Manchester, all Media City buildings and the main motorways; there’s easy accessible and convenient parking on site. There’s no rushing around and squishing in and out with prams and car seats; there’s large parking bays for the safety of everyone; most importantly the small people and babies getting in and out of their transport. There’s also a tram station behind the building which has been handy in emergencies. The reception is bright and clean with a feeling of spa time with humidifiers and aromatherapy. Cleanliness is impeccable alongside high level security measures and safety facilities. On entering Kids Planet it’s strikingly colourful; enriched with displays and learning facilities and is saturated in culture, art and progressive learning at all ages. There’s a huge multi-screen to watch the new starters and for watching settling in sessions without being in the individual rooms. The immediate feeling for me was ‘this is more like a school’ it is a professional learning and caring facility with a professional chef that provides nutritious and healthy home cooked meals throughout the day be it for vegan or vegetarian eaters or otherwise. There is fresh fruit available frequently throughout the site and drinks, leaflets and handy packs on issues like potty training (which has been a breeze; toilet at 2 thanks to the nursery helping!).The office is located immediately on entering the facility; after a face recognition/voice entry system. Managers are welcoming and open for chats, support and any issues that need discussion and the manger and now new manager excel in leadership and caring, they inject passion and positivity into a tight team that clearly all love their jobs. This provides a happy environment and children soak in the atmosphere which is happy, positive and productive. There are daily activities and events such as bee keeping, animal fun days, theatre and many multi cultural enriching events celebrated and embraced.Learning is logged and progression is discussed and adjusted to individual needs. The attention to health and alertness to changes has been correct and accurate whenever I’ve been alerted to illness or sickness onset. I needed to trust the knowledge of those caring for my child and their reaction skills and readiness to alert me if there’s an issue. In babies, tots and toddler room; health has been paramount and I’m comfortable at work knowing there’s care and attention to every detail. If there’s an issue no matter how small; I’m informed. The garden is full of activities and play areas and all play themes and areas are changed daily to keep children alert, entertained and leaning. Singing and performance is encouraged and also quiet reading and thought alongside sharing, caring and looking after each other. There’s a close connection and friendship amongst the families and the staff and thriving amongst the children. The diversity and enrichment of experience on site is something I hoped for and they achieve this daily at Salford Quays, Kids Planet. There’s always a fun piece of art work to take home and something fun on a personalised peg area for bags and clothes and dirty clothes are changed and left in a separate bag. Everything from wipes, creams and nappies to sun cream is provided and of a high quality. When a child wants to go somewhere and knows everyone’s name, arrives smiling and leaves smiling and laughing; they are happy. For me that’s what they have achieved here with this site and that’s what I wanted from day one; happiness to be key and no stressful screaming and crying at the nursery door. A fun enriching facility is somewhere children enjoy and want to be and return and this is that place. There is a feeling of family and happiness and that’s what children need first and foremost; to be happy.

Really impressed with this nursery. Our son started 18 months ago and has progressed so much. Staff are caring, supportive and helpful and he loves going in.

Our son is due to start this nursery in September. Until now have visited multiple times for “Stay and Play” sessions, and been in contact with staff several times. There are only positive words we can say about them. From organising play dates for babies, making sure they all feel welcomed and safe, to handling anxious mother emotions over the phone, it has all made us feel very good. Our nursery nurses Cheryl and Sarah are very carring approachable and helpful.

This is an immaculate facility. It's a brand new build, so everything is new. The outdoor play area is incredibly secure and visually engaging for young minds.
