Hicks Carpentry

Paul (and James) came and hung 18 solid oak doors for us over a series of weekends and times that worked for us.His work is absolutely top quality, takes his time and does a fantastic, professional job. I know a little bit about carpentry, so was skeptical about getting someone in but i am so glad I did. He was flexible in terms of how we paid, and always kept us informed of when he would be working. He was very tidy, keeping disruption to a minimum. He also took his time to explain why things are done a certain way and gave great tips on how to ensure the life of the work he had done.He was also just a lovely guy who you would be comfortable having working in your house.I don't think i could recommend him enough, the only problem is his availability as because of the quality of work, he is in high demand.Overall I'm glad we waited to have him hang the doors, really great work.
