Popped in for breakfast but friend had already eaten so we just had coffee. Drinks arrived and both were barely warm. Raised it with gentleman that served us and were met with a stony stare. He did sort the issue & returned with hot drinks which were placed on the table without a single word being uttered. Very poor. Good service would have been politely acknowledging the shortfall in quality of our drinks & apologising.

Took my 5 and 7 year old here. They had pancakes and waffles and I had scrambled egg on toast. The eggs were soft, well seasoned and very nice. The coffee was lovely. And from what I gather from my kids, the pancakes and waffles amazing as wasn't a bite left.Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Def recommend and will go back

Ordered one of the afternoon tea/sharing delivery boxes from Crepe Escape. The product is excellent: delicious and looks beautiful. The family loved it as a treat. However, the staff also went above and beyond to ensure it was delivered on my chosen date/time; 'Peter' took time out to personally to do this. Very much appreciated and highly recommend this business as a result!

Lovely cafe, our waitress was brilliant. Good service and the food came quickly. All 3 of us are gluten free and this was no issue at all. I had a gluten free crepe with banana, strawberry, and Nutella. The other 2 people had savoury options - chicken/mushroom/spinach and chicken/pesto. All delicious! Definitely recommend.

Outstanding! Excellent service and even better food! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with orders arriving quickly. Great place for family and friends. Loved it and will be returning sooner rather than later. The staff are great, not all super hero's wear Crêpes!

The most amazing afternoon tea! Everything was delicious and presented beautifully. Nicki was so fantastic, catering for a large group of us for my mum's birthday. She was happy to accommodate to everyone, including fussy eaters. - Making different options to keep everyone happy. A lovely environment with fabulous staff! All my family loved it and are already making plans to revisit and introduce friends to the gorgeous food at the Crepe Escape.Big thanks again! xx

After reading the reviews this morning, I decided to invite my husband for a “crepe”. The welcome was very friendly, attentive staff and the sweets are yummy/delicious . Totally recommend! Thank you ! Definitely we will return !

Great little place in Penarth specialising in crepes, French toast and ice cream. My partner opted for a tactical lemon and sugar crepe whilst I went for the Berrylicious French Toast. Both tasted fantastic and were cooked perfectly! If you are looking for a sweet or savoury treat I would recommend.We stopped in the middle of the week, during the middle of the day so it was a little quiet but the place is light and pleasant. Maybe some background music would make it feel a bit livelier when trade is a little quiet.Would recommend to anyone.
