Pegs and Pitches Camping (Office only for our two Sussex Campsites)

We have camped at the Beech Estate 3 years in a row now and it is truly wonderful. So incredibly peaceful, the scenery is stunning and we love the bucket showers they are such fun.We are booked in again for this summer and we can't wait. Would highly recommend this campsite.

I stayed at Wild Boar Wood Campsite with my sister and my one year old twin nieces. The campsite was gorgeous, the tent was spacious & has everything we needed and it was very child friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and we would highly recommend!!

Once again I had the most wholesome stay at Wild Boar Wood! Such a gorgeous woodland with all the young green leaves coming out, blue bells flowering and insane birdsong in the mornings. The new wardens, Nikita and Suki, have done a marvellous job setting this place up again and looking after it and their campers. It's been such a pleasure and inspiration getting to know them a little. The bell tents are well equipped and so nice to wake up in. The facilities are great. Clean and functional. Bucket showers... BEST way to shower ever! Hot water from a tap or wood burner. It's just an all around lovely place to be. I will never get tired of watching the steam train on the bluebell railway chuffing past either. THANK YOU to the whole team at Pegs&Pitches for a memorable time. Will definitely be back! Have a great season x

We have just arrived home from an amazing stay at the Wild Boar Woods. We booked a glamping bell tent for 3 nights and just relaxed by the fire the whole time enjoying our digital detox. I love that this site is off grid with no electricity. My children and I just relaxed round the fire, read books, played board games, napped and went for short walks round the site. And we loved cooking over the camp fire. After a really full on school year we have come home feeling rested having switched off from everything for a few days. The wardens are so kind and helpful. I couldn't recommend this glamping site more.2 years ago we visited their other campsite, the Beech Estate near Battle, and had the same wonderful experience there too.Definitely visiting both sites again.

Another amazing weekend camping with the family at Beech Estate...!!

Just spent another glorious weekend at the beautiful Beach Estate campsite. So rare to find such a tranquil site, and one where camp fires are welcome. Friendly and welcoming staff and facilities are excellent.

We had a lovely stay at Wild Boar Wood campsite. Steffi was so welcoming and we all facilities were very clean. Lovely chat with the owner and would love to share a whiskey when we are back.
