Combe Manor Barns

Combe Manor Barns was the first wedding venue we visited when starting our search in 2019 and we knew instantly it was the venue for us. Despite date changes and the challenges of the pandemic, Sybille was incredibly accommodating and communicative throughout the entire process, and we finally had our celebration in May 2022. It was absolutely worth the wait!The venue is unique in that it allows for only one wedding a week, and you’re given access to setup from the Wednesday before your wedding day – this made the planning process so much more enjoyable and relaxed, and the barns really felt like ‘ours’ by the time our day came around.The barns are well-thought-out and have everything you need to organise a wonderful event, with the added bonus of being a blank canvas and allowing people to put their own stamp on it by choosing their own décor and suppliers. The countryside and surrounds are equally as stunning, and I really appreciated having access to the bridal suite in the manor house to get ready onsite on the day itself. We really couldn’t fault our experience!Thank you so much to Sybille and the team - we can’t recommend the venue enough and we will treasure the memories made in beautiful Combe for years to come.

Combe Manor Barns was the first venue we went to visit when planning our wedding, and we realised very quickly that we didn't need to go and look at any others! We instantly fell in love with the stunning countryside views, the spacious L-shaped barn with plenty of room for eating and dancing, and the fact that we could have EVERYTHING, including a church service, all in one location, so that our guests didn't have to travel between our ceremony and reception. Not only this, but they only hold one wedding a week, meaning we could access the barns and church for a few days before and after the wedding day which was invaluable to relieving some of the stress of setting up!Sybille was wonderful to work with throughout and helped to make the planning process straightforward, with a list of recommended suppliers to help narrow down our searches for caterers etc., and plenty of tips and advice along the way. She was also very accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding in 2021. We would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking to plan a barn wedding in Berkshire.

We had our wedding reception at Combe Manor Barns in September of this year and it was absolutely perfect. We loved the flexibility that they offered us, the choice to bring in our own caterers, florists, etc - and the extra time to set up and clear up was so valuable, helping the whole weekend to feel fun and relaxed rather than rushed and stressful. Sybille is an absolute pleasure to deal with, she replies quickly to emails and texts and accommodated all my various requests. Plus of course the venue is GORGEOUS, a lovely building and courtyard in such an amazing setting. Would recommend to anyone wanting a barn wedding.

We held our wedding at Combe Manor Barns in October and the venue and our host Sybille we both absolutely stunning! The barns and their setting are beautiful and it was great having the flexibility to really make the day so unique and special for us. Sybille was friendly and accommodating throughout the organising process and was on hand to help make sure the final preparations and the day went smoothly. We had access to the barns in the run up to the wedding so we could add our own decoratiosn which helped make the day so magical. Could recommened more highly!

We had our wedding here late April 2023 and the venue was simply perfect. Having access to the venue a few days before was so helpful, which allowed us to design and implement our special day exactly how we wanted it. What’s great about this venue is you get the time to enjoy the set up and that part of the process, in the lead up to your day.Sybille is a fantastic, reliable and caring host. She and / or her team are present on the day to help you too.The shape of the venue worked perfectly for us too. It’s an L shaped barn. We had our ceremony on one side and kept the wedding breakfast area closed off as a surprise, on the other side. There is a large curtain that divides the two areas and you can have lots of fun with this; drawing back the curtain for both entrances to the ceremony area and at point of entering the wedding breakfast. There’s also a stage where the music is typically played from. We had a live band who played up there. It’s a really professional looking space and the tech behind the stage was good too.We would highly recommend Combe Manor Barns and the fantastic Sybille for your special day!

Combe Manor is stunning! The barns, house, and surroundings all make for a perfect wedding day. Nothing felt like too much for the owner, any query big or small was answered promptly and on the day we set up she was there offering support and anything we needed to set the barns up for our special day. On the day she was with us all the way, even taking some candid photos which was lovely to see a couple of days later while waiting for the professional ones.I can't say anything negative about our experience with Combe Manor Barns, other than it went past too quickly!

We married at Combe in October 2021 and the venue and its location are a wonder; being able to be away from anything else and enjoy the day made it even more special for us.We fell in love with Combe Manor Barns, and the Church of St Swithin next door as soon as we visited and having everything in one place and able to walk between the two sealed the deal for us.Being able to access the barns for three days before the wedding and two days after allowed us to spend time steadily getting everything ready and tidied up with no last minute rush to set up or early start the morning after for either us or our suppliers.Combe offered the perfect opportunity for us to have the wedding we wanted, in the way we wanted, being a blank canvas of a barn, able to bring in our own caterers and suppliers, decorating how we wanted.We will cherish the memories we made at Combe for many years to come.

We have been planning our Wedding for over 3 years having postponed it twice due to Covid restrictions.... When choosing a venue we wanted somewhere spectacular that was gorgeous in its own right but has the potential to showcase our own ideas! Our Wedding was a very chilled and relaxed event with our gorgeous family and friends laughter and smiles being the backdrop of the day.Every single person that attended had a fantastic time, with remarking on the beautiful venue and how idealic the surrounds were... Many of the guests where amazing by the beauty of Combe with many not even knowing it was here despite living less than 13 miles from the venue! Sybille was fantastic from the moment we viewed Combe Manor back to 2020, we instantly fell in love with the Venue and Sybille's relaxed and nothing is too much trouble attitude. Sybille was flexiable and really let us have free reigh of decorating the Venue. Combe Manor Barns was the perfect choice for perfect Wedding Reception and it will always hold a special place in our hearts!We aren't sure which is higher A* or 15/10!!! Although Sybille you deserve both!!!

A wonderful venue, run so professionally and in such a lovely setting. Nothing was too much trouble for Sybille and her team, with recommendations for suppliers along the way. We were so well looked after from the moment we made contact, the sun came out, we were able to have our reception outside and have had so many positive comments from guests about the venue, caterers (Vaughan's Kitchen) and the band (Brightside/Moonrunners). Thank you all for making our day such a perfect and happy one.
