Wastewater pump wasn't working and Jon came within a few hours and replaced a sensor and a box for the wiring, and sorted out the damaged wires, all within the 1 hour call out. He had all the parts he needed with him and explained everything as he did it. Very impressed.

Jon from Barrett Water carried out annual inspection on our bio-tank and arranged for it to be emptied. It’s always a bit risky booking a tradesman you don’t know. Jon already had some great reviews and so I followed recommendations and I’m glad I did. Jon was able to come out the next day, he was on time and when he arrived he was very polite and took his shoes off (didn’t need to ask either). We needed a new part for an old rain management system which Jon managed to track down and order for us. He even discounted his fee when the part was delayed arriving which was completely out of his control. So, book Jon - he knows his stuff, he’s responsive, reliable, courteous, and conscientious.

We moved into a house and unknowingly had a sewage pump and inspection chamber in our garden. It started beeping and we didn’t know what to do, Barrett Water to the rescue.Communication with Barrett Water was excellent, Jon and Vendy were friendly, professional and reassuring.Jon came to visit, identified the problem and resolved it. Turns out we had a blockage in our pump, Jon removed the blockage leading to the sewage within the chamber being pushed to the mains and thankfully the beeping stopped.Jon walked us through the setup we had, explaining how it was all connected and why the pump started beeping. He explained everything in simple, easy to understand terms and gave my wife and I a demo of what everything does and how to isolate the pump in case of further problems.Jon also found the chain holding the pump in place had corroded and needed to be replaced, he replaced it for us with a stainless steel chain that won’t corrode and will stand the test of time.Thanks very much Jon and Vendy.

Having just moved into an old property we were really concerned about the state of the water system and didn't know who or if it could be serviced.We contacted Jon and just from a photo he knew everything about it and practically came out the next day to inspect it.Having someone who can simply take ownership of a major headache, eg arrange a tanker, order new parts, service it etc was a massive weight of my shoulders and all done at a very reasonable cost too.I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!
