West Middlesex University Hospital : Urology

Grossly inefficient Urology department. The Urologists think you as a patient can have various tests and scans, then no one has the common sense or common courtesy or logical thinking to actually call you to tell you what the diagnosis is. Instead, they just leave you to become more and more anxious by the day, wandering what is wrong with you. So you have to make several phone calls yourself in order to get a Doctor to call you to tell you what's your diagnosis is. Otherwise wait like a sheep for 5 or 6 weeks for your outpatients appointment. Absolutely no excuse for inefficiency & incompetence. All quick to blame the pandemic but the inefficiency has always been there, with no one actually in charge and accountable who can manage the NHS with a disciplined professional attitude and approach

Impossible to get through by phone.

Great to start off with, my dad had an issue and quick appointments followed. After biopsy and mri.was taken we have heard nothing since. It's been 6 months with no results and appointments keep being cancelled. Forget calling them the number just cuts you off.

very poor communication,brusque and dismissive attitude have been left to find out that I have bladder cancer following surgery , through receiving an appt letter with an oncologist .The appointment will be 7 weeks after my op- have had no diagnosis and no support.

Awful service, impossible to get through and when you do you can't have a conversation with the person.
