Is interesting to see the old figure in this graveyard but why oh WHY is there absolutely no historical information posted at this site to tell you about it!

Fascinating figures and worth a detour to see. I wish there was an info board about the statues though to learn more!

Antichissime pietre scolpite, poste come lapidi, in un minuscolo cimitero. Visita libera e gratuita. Forme e significato tuttora misterioso. Parcheggio disponibile.

A hidden treasure! An ancient Janus stone that is true history. Found on the island of Boa, it is definitely worth a visit.

The cemetery itself is still in use, but nothing to write home about; however, the stone carvings, the Lustymore Idol and Boa Island's bilateral stone carving (Janus-figure), believed to be depicting pagan deities, are definitely worth the detour. There is something about such symbols that is difficult to describe, but it is a luxury to be able to stare right at them... maybe their simplicity is what is so calming, and I am sure that the evening light helps bring a sense of mystery.

I have passed this place loads of times on my trips to Enniskillen, so the other day we decided to stop off and have a look. The road from the main road is single track and poorly maintained and at the end there is just a gravel area, not what I would call a car park. There is a sign that show the way to the graveyard, it’s through a wooden gate and down a grass path. The entrance to the graveyard is through a kissing gate, there was another gate but it had been padlocked so if you have mobility issues you may have trouble with the path and gate. The graveyard is still in use and there are a load of ancient stones plotted around. If I’m honest I was a little bit disappointed, I was expecting more.
