A great golf course quite queerky in the way you criss cross to play it.

Nice atmosphere and lovely staff

Course was in very good condition. Bar staff very helpful and friendly. Pro shop was closed just before we went out so could buy drinks but all in all a great day at Runcorn golf club for the sutton golf society lads.

Lovely little firework display with bonfire. Food and drinks available (cash only). Would be 10/10 with some music/entertainment. Concrete parking stops were a bit of a trip hazard in the dark with crowds.

Had a lovely Father's Day Sunday Roast here yesterday. The meal was delicious, a choice of 3 meats accompanied with 5 assorted helpings of vegetables.The venue is very relaxing and comfortable. It's a place we hadn't considered in the past, possibly because we don't play golf and thought it was possibly off limits - how wrong we were, we will be returning very soon.

Played here in their seniors, pairs comp. Small practice area good, hit a few in the net to finish and then walk down ready for the first, a good opener as is the second. We played off the yellows which makes it nice, for me anyway as it becomes playable. The course is how I remember it and we had a good day. Tees, fairways, greens all good, May time. There was a breeze which made you think but not difficult. If its blowing I can see this course been difficult, the views from some tees look really tight, you need trust your swing and not steer! If you are off line here the tree lined fairways protect the course. In most cases it means the green is not the play, so get it back in play, on the green and it's a five for two. There are some good holes to test players, 9 and 17 with par three finish. Food good value and staff polite and courteous.

Excellent golf course, nice and open, good variety of holes and forgiving for people who can't claim to be professional.
