Celly's Hairdresser

I go to Cellys not regularly but when I do I like to have Zoe do my hair as she is an excellent hairdresser. She has been with the Salon a long time. She is really a people person and we have some good chats.

Anite, the mature hairdresser with short white hair cut my hair. She had long nails which she clawed into my scalp whilst roughly washing my hair. She then proceeded to yank at my thick long hair with a fine tooth comb which really hurt. She convinced me to get a blow dry expecting her to use a round brush that any other hair dresser does, instead she used her long nails to rack through my hair which pulled so badly. She was so rushed and kept hitting me with the hair dryer. My sculp is so sensitive today, probably left with more hair damage than I came in with and my forehead as a tender bruise on it. Don’t get me wrong the other staff looked lovely but I would avoid her by all costs. Paid £25 to have not even a centimetre cut off and a rubbish blow dry. Just go to a proper salon, I have learnt my lesson!

This hair saloon is amazing, especially Tanya the hairdresser is perfect. I truly recommend her and this saloon to you. The service is nice and a welcoming environment.

Katie has transformed my hair and is an absolute hairdressing angel! Having previously, and happily, been to the very respected Ton & G, I needed an instant walk-in appointment, it was now or never after many missed weeks of time pressures and Katie knew exactly what was needed to rectify my summer sunshine lightened hair that had been left to its own devices. The receptionist was lovely however the stylist was incredibly rude. My Mom has dementia and wanted a simple trim to her bob to which the stylist said “no, no” it must be a wash, cut and blow-dry. My Mom has always had a wet cut. She had a really poor attitude and I would refuse her to ever cut my Mother’s hair again as she made her feel uncomfortable and upset. Stylists should have manners as a given and good people skills.

Since I found the salon I always come here. At Celly’s everyone who I spoke to was really friendly and always made sure I feel really good during each one of my visits. My hair dresser, Katie, did an amazing job with my hair I’m so happy with my new color and she also straighten it for me just how I wanted! Thank you so much Katie! ❤️I will come back soon! ☺️

So convenient to be able to just turn up without an appointment . A particular stylist can be asked for but in my experience all stylists are really good. All staff most welcoming & make a nice complimentary coffee.

I have been going to Cellys Exeter for almost 8 years now. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The management and staff are all very pleasant and friendly and make you feel welcome. I always have Zoe to do my hair she is brilliant at her job and such a lovely person
