Highly recommended, world class instructors. My daughter has been going for 5 years and my son for 2 years. There confidence has grown massively and also there fitness.

Our 3 year old has been coming once a week for five months and his confidence has improved massively! Everyone is so friendly and patient and has made sure he integrates well into the class. I would recommend to any one who wants their child to practice martial arts and get regular exercise.

My journey at X Martial Arts has been transformational. I started in 2015 with very little confidence and in a bad place. All the instructors were very supportive and welcoming and I trained 3 times a week for 4 years to earn my black belt. It’s such an incredible community and in that time I met so many new friends. I was again supported in the following years to become an instructor and school owner, and I’m proud to be able to give back the benefits that I was given. I’m honestly not sure where I’d be if I hadn’t found XMA. I’d highly recommend it to anyone considering starting martial arts or already training! My son is having lots of fun attending his classes, and it's great to see him motivated to get his next belt. Bonus for all parents kids actually get tired.Staff is super friendly and helpful.Highly recommended

I couldnt recommend this place enough i cant keep my son away from this place. I was worried it was to expensive but its worth every single penny. Harley gets ready for martial arts and and walks himself there without me even asking him. Harls has such a layed back personality and everyone worried about him been so quiet and not having much confidence but he goes to martial arts even if nobody he knows is attending and will spar with anyone. He comes home everynight telling me all about it and what he has learnt. I really couldnt recommend this more.

Our children have been attending XMA for a couple of years and the experience has been phenomenal. The instructors are particularly adept at working with kids, making each class fun and engaging while teaching valuable skills. Their patience and expertise have greatly helped in building our kids' confidence and discipline. Joining X Martial Arts has in no small way changed our lives! What started as a way for our boys to learn self defence has developed into us being part of the full X Martial Arts community; helping out as SWAT members, joining the Competition Team, all apart from our youngest earning our black belts (youngest soon to follow no doubt) and Mrs H now working in the team.Last year being part of the X Martial Arts competition Team gave us the opportunity to compete at an international level as part of the England team, with our eldest boys winning world titles in Ireland. They would not have got there without the support and encouragement from the instructors and coaches at X Martial Arts.The instructors are all second to none, with countless world titles between them all. They are great role models to the children and adults alike, and really know how to get the most from the students in their classes.We love being part of the community.

Prior to starting at X Martial Arts, our son wouldn’t take part in any other club. He wouldn’t get in the pool at swimming or cross the line at rugby.On his first lesson, a member of the SWAT Team was there to meet him and guide him through the warm up and class.We’ve seen his confidence shoot through the roof. He virtually runs along Front Street! We also appreciate all of the extras you get here like the welcome from Jane and the gang when you walk through the door, handwritten postcards from the teachers to say how happy they are with your child’s progress and the rounds of applause from the other parents watching the sessions for the Superstars of the Class.

I’ve been training at X Martial Arts for 10 years now, martial arts has taught me so many core life skills like discipline, confidence and resilience which help me in day to day life both in and out of class.From a staff perspective it is amazing as well as being able to build a career whilst getting to meet so many people, I still have the opportunity to train and attend tournaments.
