Amsys Limited Apple Repairs

Such a terrible place. True scam artists. I gave my MacBook Pro in for a faulty trackpad. This place billed me £550! I definitely wasn't paying that, I had to pay £88 just to get my laptop back. Took it somewhere else and got the whole thing sorted for £120, don't know why I wasted my money, they even scratched up my laptop somehow. The new place told me they were very forceful opening it and damaged a screw. I hated the service. AVOID. Just go to apple. Trust me. You'll get scammed.

Fantastic service!! Amsys Nottingham Court is my first port of call whenever anything goes wrong with my mac in the future. Much better service than the apple store service. I highly recommend anybody to use Amsys :)

Excellent service. Its very rare I receive customer service that I want to come on and review this quickly. The Kenley branch have provided amazing service, listening to my issue and resolving it as fast as they can. I was in contact with the Apple store team for hours with no real help at all. Got in touch with AMSYS KENLEY and the device was looked at immediately and the process to get it fixed was started within the hour. Great team and really appreciate the help I have received.

I was lucky to find Amsys as an option to an Apple Store Service.Being an authorized Apple Repair Service centre Amsys ensures that all the spare parts it uses are original. Their work is prompt and responsible. I met Theo at Amsys who had my son's MAC screen repaired, as well as helped me to fight a virus in my MAC.Thank you very much. Next time i will use their service without any doubt.

Absolutely shocking service. Apple have confirmed there is a fault with iPhone but Argos returned phone to this company and this company reckon it’s normal. So Apple must be lying !!Maybe a back street company it looks knows more than Apple themselves

Had my MacBook Pro replaced here for water damage.Sent in a top spec 3.1ghz quad core MacBook Pro with Touch Bar - only to be sent back a 1.4ghz MacBook with Touch Bar - a machine that is in no way similar in processing power but also value.The difference in costs between the machine is around £600. So this has essentially been stolen by the company.I called up to enquire about this hoping it would be a mistake and easily fixable. But my god was I wrong. I spoke to a lady on the phone with the worst attitude I’ve ever come across, essentially refusing to do anything, saying the swap is final and appropriate and I’d have to take it up with my insurer.I spoke to my insurer (Barclays) and they were immediately concerned and took action, launching an investigation immediately. Pending the outcome but I’ve been told they’ll cash out my device for cost which is fine.Avoid this repair centre like the plague, clearly the techs here know nothing about laptops, only go here if you’re fine with being given inadequate replacements, losing money and receiving poor quality service and repairs.I can’t even use the new laptop issues to run photoshop / video editing software properly - that’s how pathetic the variation is in devices.0/10.Place should be shut down for fraud and robbery.

Amazing service. I was served straight away when I arrived and my damaged iphone was replaced there and then. Coffee and comfortable seating area also made my experience better than in the Apple store. I was given good advice of what rights I have under the Consumer Law hence I was refunded by Apply the only amount I paid at Amsys which was £60.00.Quick, comfortable and without charge!

These clowns have had my phone for a week and haven't even looked at it absolute joke of a company that employ a god knows WHAT to answer calls and fob you off with outright lies I'm going to continuously call you tomorrow until you do what I want to everyone reading this avoid buying phones from Argos this is where they send them avoid at all costs!

These guys are crooks. I was charged £80 for an assessment fee" of my Mac where they determined that because of the age of it they couldn't replace the battery because it was too old. Surely they could've told me that before assessing it when I told them the age of the Mac. What an absolute scam. I took it to another place that charged me £120 for the work - only £40 more than these scammers charged to tell me the computer was too old to do anything with!!!!!! Absolutely disgusting. I will be reporting them to trading standards and I encourage everyone who has had similar experiences to do likewise."
