Have been using Smarty for years because they always do a super job. A few weeks ago I had a disaster with a Mac & blackberry juice ….. I have to say that Ellie & Lynn were absolute life savers. They were super helpful, reassuring and saved my day and Mac, they also saved my son in law with his grooms suit the day before the wedding so have been super stars on both occasions. Calm, friendly efficient and professional. Thoroughly recommend them.

Really lovely service, I’ve had all my suits and coats dry cleaned here after we found a bit of mould on them.Some of my suit pants shrunk a little but the team went above and beyond to see if we could get them repaired and constantly reassured me that I’d be looked after if they couldn’t.Nothing but a pleasant chat and great service from the team throughout this.So great to have smarty’s in BOA!

Jack Wills Jacket ruined.Jacket came back with white marks twice, then the material colour and texture were ruined – each time it was sent back to be re-cleaned but they never rectified the damage, only made it worse.Ellie (customer service) and Jonathan (owner) refused to take any responsibility; refund the £12 cleaning bill or compensate in anyway. Instead, their response was defensive, accusatory, and rude. Rather than finding a resolution, their sole focus was on me making a complaint and the negative reviews I gave after two months of being fobbed off.I now must file a small claims court application to recoup the bill and compensation for the damaged jacket when common sense, fairness and half decent customer service would have legated this.I recommend you take your dry cleaning where you can be confident that if they damage your items, you will be treated fairly and compensated. My experience of Smarty’s is that if anything goes wrong, they are unable to accept responsibility or own up to their shortcomings and will apportion all blame onto the customer. A horrible, upsetting experience.
